Terrain
In different video games they will have different terrain like the games Skyrim
and GTA IV now in Skyrim it is based in the midlevel times and there are dragons
and skeletons but in the game GTA IV the game is set in a city and there are
gangs and thoughts that you have got to fight so the train is very different in the
Skyrim game you have got to get around the train and you would do this in with
a horse because back then they wouldnt have cars and there are mounts you
have got to claim and you would have to go around and go through different
caves you can go through but in the GTA game you can go around in a car and
you can fly to the top of big buildings and go in shops and tunnels so it shows the
difference in different games and just what you have to do to get around in the
different games if you to walk in the games and thats it then it would take you a
lot longer to ascus different areas and location in the game so these games try
and make you get some kind of transportation the train can be dangers in these
kinds of games because in the Skyrim game there can be people on the way to
where you are going that are trying to kill you can might have to fight them to
get to where you are going you could also run into a dragon or a group of
skeletons that you might have to fight this can be the same with the GTA IV
game you might be driving somewhere that you have to go and you could run
into the police and you would have to fight them to get passed or you could run
into a gang that you would have to fight the trainee In these games are rather
dangers.
Architecture
In the Skyrim game this is a big part because it is set in the olden times there is
a lot of different castiles and building that are set in a Nordic theme but the
buildings in the GTA IV are all big skyscrapers and set are all very modem
buildings and set to now days. The Skyrim games there are a lot of forest that
you have got to go though and there is like spider and other monster that you
might have to fight and evil people like bandits and thves you might also have to
fight but in the GTA IV game there is some forest but not a lot that you might
have to look out when you are going though there is more buildings then forests
and but there is the undergrounds that might go though and it could be a gang
hind out that you are going to be walking though so you would have to look out
for as well they might try and kill you the Skyrim game the building are normal
made out of wood and rock and they look very old fashion.
Objects
The objects that are in the Skyrim games are old fashion and they have cloths
like armaer and they also have old posh cloths they could have a crown as well
but in the GTA IV game they would normal have just every day cloths but there is
a plethora of cloths that you could have suits army gire of just the normal cloths
in the Skyrim game if you have your arma and you can also upgrade the arma as
well and make it stronger and a rissiton to some attacks that the people are
trying to kill you .might have the weapons that are in the game and they are a
lot different from each other in the GTA IV game you could have a bat or a knife
or you could have a gun as well or an RPG the are rather mdon weapons that are
normal in this day and age but in the Skyrim they use things like sward and
shield you could even have a battle axe if you wanted or a bow and arrow they
are much different than the other game but with GTA you can add things to your
weapons to make them suit you better and you can kind of do the same with the
weapons In the Skyrim game you can make them stronger if you wanted to you
can even make some weapons if you wanted you can make a sword and shield

NPC
The npcs that are in the GTA games can be a number of different things the first
one could be a police man and they are there to try and stop you if you do
something wrong like if you stele something then they will come and try to stop
you they wont hurt you if you dont do something wrong but if you do then they
will another NPC that is in the game is the generic npc the once that you just see
walking around and you can do things like kill or robe them and they will also
react in different ways to whatever you do if you try and kill them then they will
try and run away if you robe them then they will be scared and had over all their
money and the last one id the shop workers if you go to a shop you can shop
from them and they will talk to you like you are a customer and they will act
different in the different shops if you go to a gun shop they will act like they are
from the beep south of America but if you say go to a lower end cloths shop they
will act very hipster like and they are rather young but if you go to a high end
cloths shop then they will act rather snobby and posh and they are rather old as
well and talk to you a lot different to the other shop keeps and the npc are not
that different to the ones in the Skyrim game. They are the same in similar ways
the towns in the Skyrim game have got gureds and what they do is they keep the
town safe they are there to make sure known gets hurt but they are also there to
keep an eye on the people in the town if you say stile or hurt anyone the guards
will come after you and they will either kill you or they might make you pay a
fine or take you to prison. The shop keeps in this can normal have to roles the
ones that sell you weapon can also be the ones who make all the swords and
armour and thy can also show you have to improve your weapon making but
there is also people who can sell you potions or cloths and they can do a similar
thing that the can help you better your making of these items but with theses
the better the town you are in the better the stuff they will sell is and they will
also cost a lot more so if you want the best of the best you would go to the big
towns but if you dont want to spend that much then you might want to go to
one of the lower towns. And the last npc is the people that are around the town
and they would just normal be walking around doing random jobs.
Feedback
Perspectives
The perspectives in game can different you can have some 2d ones what are
normal side scrolers and you dont get that much of a feel for what is the train is
like these game can include rareo and sonic games most of the games that are in
todays generation are 3d games where you can see around and what is going on
around you. They are the kind of games where you can look anything you want.
In the two games that I have picked to talk about you can pick first and or third
person. fist is where you are looking though their eyes and you are seeing as
they would and its better to look though first when you are in the game Skyrim
because its a lot easy to use a bow or a sward but if you wanted you could use
third which can help when you are looking around corners but its a lot simpler to
look though first. Be it makes it easy to see where you are going and it helps with
aim and if you need to read something but with the GTA game 3 rd person is a lot
simpler they have only just resonley added it to the game the past games never
had a first person so they have become a custom to playing in 3 rd and it also
helps with driving car or flaying helicopters its a lot simplerto play this game in
the 3rd person because you can see all around. There are also some games that
have got an aerial view these are games like league of legends and smite and
they are and the reason for this is because you would need to be able to see all
around you to play it and It and with some of the kind of things that you do you
would need to be able to see all around yourself.

Full motion video

Most video games have got cut seens in their games and what they are is short
little video clips that try play to give you information on the game that you are
playing and a game that dose this well is the halo game series what this has is
before every single mission that you do there is a short little video that is saying
what is happening in the mission so they can give you like a small little film
about the game there is also some in the GTA game but they are not as well
made as the halo ones and they are not as common as the ones in the halo
games what they are there for is so that you can get a good feel about what is
going to be happing when you play the game and they also give you some
meaning to playing the game
Interactive mode
Avatar
In video game you are set to play as an avatar and they are there so that you
have got something to play as and in some games cases you can customs your
avatar this is seen in the game halo reach what they have is you make a
character that is used to play on the signal player and the online as well and
they have made it so that you can digin the caritor yourself and you can make it
a him or a her and you can make the armo they have whatever you want you can
also pic the voice they have as well and they are going to be the charicto you
play as though out the hole game and you can change their armour or voice at
any point though out the game and you can also change their gender but with
the Skyrim game there ae many different things that you can do to change your
avatar these things are change what race you can change them into an elf or an
orc or a human they are just some of the kind of races you can become and
when you have picked it you can diced whether it is a women or a man and when
you have picked that you can pick if they are big and strong or small and weak
and then you can change all kind of body parts like their hair or maybe there eye
colour and if they have got any tattoos you can change all kind of things like that
Omnipresence
This is the apart of a game that can be very importet. You see it mostly in big
sandbox games because the games are being played like you are in the area that
the game is being plaed in one of the games that is mostly seen in this is skyrim
beucse they have got a map that they use so when you look at it you can see
things going on in the map if the clouds are moving you can see them on the
map moving and if you look at an area and that area has got a dragon there you
can sometimes see the dragon moving another game that has this is GTA now in
this you can see other players on the map and it shows them moving around and
if they in a vical then it shows that as well this is how it is used in some video
games.
Single player
Singale play in video game is beginning to die out buecse most games today
have got a lot mosare work done to their multiplier then their single player but
there are still some video games that are just signal player like the game Skyrim
this is just a solo game it is just a one player game you cant go online and you
cant play with others its just you by yourself but the game skyrim is so massive
that you have got lots of different things that you can do that you dont need to
play online thats what most video games have tried to do with just a singal
player game they have made it so that you have got a million and one things to
do so you wouldnt have to worry about going online with them

Multiplayer
Most of the video games that are in todays games are mostly played online they
are there so that you wont ever get really bored when playing on it and one of
the biggest games that is based around the multiplayer is the game call of duty
that is a video game where they have made a story that you get to play that
used to just be you on your own but now you can do in with your friends and
another thing they have got is there massive online gaming where you are in a
team and you would have to fight off the other team another game like this is
the game halo thins the same as the call of duty game you can play online with
your friends in the story mode or you can do multiplier which is team against
team
Narrative
game this is when you are playing a story mode game and there is some or
soothing that is telling you what to do when you are playing this is like when you
are playing the call of duty. When you play this you are normal in a team with
some who is giving you orders and they are telling you what to do or where to go
and some time you will be told before the level what you are going to be doing
most of the time the game will try and make it so that you can only really do
what the game is telling you the other game is Skyrim now that is a little
different to the call of duty game in this you will be given a box of text and that
will be telling you what you are going to be doing and that will be your task and
this one is a little different to the other game because you dont have to really do
what it says if you say can do it because you are too low of a level then you can
go and level up a bit and then come back to it but its not just the text that tells
you what to do some times someone will tell you can you have to listen to them
and they will tell you can have subtitles on and they will let you what that person
is saying
game setting
all video games out there have got settings that you can change but some video
games have got more than others in games like call of duty you can have some
settings like cooler blindness setting and what this will do is change some of the
colours so that you can see a lot better if you have a problem and it will change
the colours to a lot more distnguble and that can help a lot in some ways another
seating that is changed a lot in this is the sensitivity that you are going to be
playing most people change this so that they can move a lot quicker when they
play they may even change the size of the screen so say you are playing a game
but the shot doesnt fit on your screen then you might want to change the screen
so that it fits on your tv screen but with some other games like the Skyrim games
you can change some other things. Because Skyrim is a very story based game
you might want to put on some subtitles and then they will tell you what you
have to do and this is helpfully because it can tell what you have to do this can
also help if you have a herring problem or you speakers are broke another thing
you can do is change the quality of the picture you are looking at this is so you
can make it so you can make youre gaming exsprace better if you want or if
youre screen cant run right you can also make it so you can game can run
better because your screen might not be able to run it.
Emotional
Some games try and make you get an emotional attachment to some of the
people that are in theses game and they want you to feel like you have got an
attachment to them because this makes you want play more of the games

Ethical
Most games today have got to stick to an ethical border that will cant go over
but some game try to make it so their games do go over this border and make so
there games stand out theses are games like call of duty 6 and what happened
in this is a very unethical level in which you have to kill lot of people and with
doing this the game have been made very pepoluer in the gaming comuity and a
lot of people played the game but bevuse of the back lash that the game was
given they had to put something in so that you can then skip that level another
game that is like this is the GTA in which you are given the opsion to gun down
as many people as you want and that can be seen as very unethical and with this
it can either make or break a game
Goals
Most video games today have got a goal that you would need to active the goal
in most video games is to get to the end of the game which can be simple in
games like call of duty. They have got the same thing really in all three games
which is to defeat the bad guy at the end of the game. But even in the game
itself you would have a mini goal to complete these goals would be the level
itself and goal in the level might be savvier for whatever amount of time or get
to a location without dieing. They could be the gaols that the game would need
you to complete if you are to carry on in the storyline. But in other games they
might it a little harder to complete the goals like tin the game Skyrim there isnt
really a mine goal that the games is going to be asking you to complete it just
gives you lots of little goals that can be rather difficult and most people in
todays gaming enjoy that a lot more because it is giving you that sense of
freedom that you dont really get from normal games and people like that the
goals might be something like go and take that castle away from the enemy its
stuff like that the game will have.
Challenges
In some video games it will give you challenges with the chance of winning
something and in some video games it might be money for the game or it could
be a weapon or exsprecn points. Like in the game call of duty you are given gun
challenges get so many kills with this gun and you will get something to go on
the gun it could be a pint job for it or maybe an attachment to go on it there can
be all kinds of things like that. this can also be seen in the FIFA games in there
you are given something could a manager task and that would be you need to do
so many things and the game will then give you something there is also you
have to get so many goals with that player. Then after you had done that the
game will reward so most challenges are done with the idea of then getting
something in return they want you to do hem so you can then better yourself

Rewards
In video games you cant really do anything without getting a reward for doing it
in games today the player wants to be able to get something for doing a task
they dont want to do something if they are not going to get anything for if they
just see it as a waste of time then this is no more aprtent than in the game
Skyrim after everything you do you will be getting something in return for it the
game will most likely give you something that is relevant to the thing that you
were asked to do if you were asked to go and kill someone the game might give
you a weapon or if you were asked to go and protect someone then the game
might give you some armore in some other games the rewards arent much
different in the call of duty game if you kill enough people you can get different
paint jobs and emboms to put on your guns sometimes you my even get a title
to put on your game
