The outcomes were met with weekly discussions, as well as weekly assignments. Each week the

discussion followed the objectives listed above and each assignment beginning with Module 1 is a

building block to complete our own module or plan due in week 4 of the VLDD course. As we
receive feedback from the instructors and our peers we will make corrections based on suggestions

given to us in our feedback. Assignment one was developing a unit plan, assignment 2 we applied

the Successive Approximation Model (SAM) to our unit plan, and in module 3 we are designing a

plan for incorporating advanced discussion techniques into our unit plan.

I will be attaching the document for week 1 and week 2.

Organized a module on Postpartum Depression. I developed course outcomes and utilized Popplet

to convey key points of the module. The outcomes are in progress, as I am presenting the material

next week. After the presentation, I will be asking the students to take a 10 question quiz.

preceptor(s).
Achieve the weekly outcomes, learning activities, and evidence of accomplishments as prepared in the Learning Contract,
and approved by the preceptor(s) and faculty.
Complete the Learning Contract per course requirements.
Agree to abide by the guidelines and policies for Joint Commissions National Patient Safety Goals, the Health
Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), as
appropriate for the practicum activities. The student will respect the confidential nature of all information that they
have access to, including but not limited to patients' personal health information provided to them orally, contained in
patient medical records, or maintained on the Hospital's/agency's electronic information system. Information on Patient
Safety Goals, HIPAA, and FERPA is provided in Week 1 materials.
