Main Lesson Aims (Concepts, Procedures, & Processes):

students will be able to : know new vocabulary (, run fast, eat meat, eat plants, a tail, could/couldnt )
Students will be able to : explore different type of dinosaurs (t-rex ,diplodocus and triceratops)
Students will be able to : discuss in group what dinosaurs could/couldnt do in the past after show
them the picture of diplodocus and ask them what do you think ?could run fast? Ate meat or plant?
Fought other dinosaurs?
Students will be able to: listen the audio and check their answer about what dinosaurs could/couldnt
do.
Students will be able to identify information about diplodocus (weighed the same as five elephants,
couldnt run fast , it had a very long neck , it couldn't eat leaves ,didn't eat meat and it used tail to
fight.)
Students will able to speak sentence about what dinosaurs could/couldnt do.

Engage (warm up, review prior knowledge): time:

After the greeting, I will ask the students about the day and the date, and then I will

write it with the objectives on the board.

I will ask students what they can remember from the previous lesson about 7 min
dinosaurs. I will ask students to work in 4 groups and brainstorm as many ideas as
they can for two minutes.
I will set the timer for two minutes on the board.
I will tell them When the buzzer rings you have to stop and share their ideas.
Each group will say what they have from information.
Core (introduce and practice new concepts & procedures):

I will display to them the PowerPoint have new vocabulary with pictures and their
definitions.
I will explain them the definition of vocabulary one by one and write it after repeat it 3
times on the board.
After finish vocabulary activity, I will display to them 3 different kind of dinosaurs (t-rex,
diplodocus and triceratops) on PowerPoint and tell them what are different between
us? Size, tail, arm, neck.
I will display the picture of diplodocus and tell them do you think this dinosaur could run
fast? Ate meat or plants? Fought other dinosaur? Could eat leaves?
I will let them work with a partner and think of what the dinosaur could and couldnt do.
After go their answer I will ask them to open learner book and look at the questions on
page 96.
Listening:
Pre-listening:
I will ask them to look at picture of dinosaur on learners book page 96 and read
questions. 33 min
I will ask them they have to listen the part of dinosaurs and put line under information
that are what dinosaurs could/couldnt do.
I will tell them I will play the audio twice.
While listening:
I will play the audio and pause it after key information to give enough time for students
to put under line and take notice.
I will repeat it again and pause it too after key information.
Post listening:
I will ask them if you need repeat again.
I will give to them 5 minutes to answer the questions.
I will check their answer together.

Close (wrap up, discussion, brief review activity or assessment):

I will ask them question what they have learned in this lesson about what dinosaurs
could/couldnt do in the past.
I will try to get answer from whole class.

I think lesson was good. The students were able to understand the lesson.
About new vocabulary and got information about diplodocus .I focused on listening
activity. I did models pre, while and post very well so the students were able to do
activity and were able to answer questions. I forgot that put timer on the board
because I didnt usual yet. I will be attention in next class.
