annual revenue with union and non-union locations in Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah,
California and Hawaii. Reported to the Director of HR Americas. Left due to desire to return to Southeast

Recruited by the President to manage the Human Resources functions for a start up business. As a member
of the senior management team I provided the full array of human resources management services that
included executive and management staffing; international relocations; compensation and bonus plan
development and administration; H.R.I.S. systems utilizing my own proprietary design; all corporate and field
employee relations and employment/labor law matters; development and implementation of personnel policies;
staff accountability for all legal issues working with the corporate general counsel; and managed the total
recruiting/staffing processes and grew company from 20 to 40 managerial staff. Report to the President/CEO,
CFO and VP of Production. Left due to downsizing and reorganization, Xella eventually dissolved.

Privately owned (Private Equity) company
Human Resources Manager, Bainbridge, Georgia (500 employees) October 2006 to May 2007
Recruited by American Fibers and Yarns as the Business Unit Human Resources Manager for their largest
facility. Duties included: Reorganization and reallocation of talent within the Human Resources team (six
people), employee relations in a facility of 500 associates, performance management, staffing, benefits
administration, all employment/labor law concerns. Managed the downsizing of the facility from 500 to 200
associates. Reported to the VP of Production and Corporate HR Manager. Left due to a more challenging
opportunity as AFY went Bankrupt.
Fleetwood Homes of Georgia

Multi-Facility HR Manager, Douglas, Georgia (350 Employees) September 2002 to October 2006
Provided human resource expertise to four business units as part of the local Human Resources team. Duties
included: employee relations, union avoidance, safety administration, EEO responses, performance
management and management consulting. Consulted on the reduction of several facilities and the
consolidation of those units into existing units. Reported to Business Unit GMs and Regional HR Manager.
Fleetwood eliminated all sub-regional HR positions when lawsuit settlement was satisfied, then went
Bankrupt.

InterMetro
Division of Emerson Electric (emr)
Human Resources Manager, Douglas, Ga (150 Employees) December 1999 to April 2002
Recruited by VP of HR to help with aborted shut down and reconstitution of facility. Duties included: recruited
new management team, employee relations, safety administrations, EEO and AAP programs, established
consistency in policy administration and interim quality and plant management assignments. Worked on union
contingency plans with HR Team for Wilkes-Barre locations. Oversaw the shut down of the facility in 2002.
Reported to the business unit manager and VP of HR. Due to uncertain economic conditions and outsourcing,
facility shut down.

Cady Industries, Inc.


Private Equity and family owned business
Director of HR, Pearson, Ga (550 Employees) September 1997 to December 1999
Recruited by the President and CEO to professionalize the HR functions for 7 locations. Duties included:
Employee relations, safety management, payroll conversion, training and development, LEAN implementation,
team development, recruitment, and staffing. Provided HR expertise and leadership in a rural area for
company with locations across the country. Oversaw the reduction of facilities and headcount from 700 to 400.
Company eventually closed. Reported to President. Left due to struggling business conditions and a better
and challenging opportunity, Cady went Bankrupt.

Baptist Village, Inc.


Ministry of the Georgia Baptist Convention
Personnel Manager, Waycross, Georgia (200 Employees) June 1996 to September 1997
Recruited by CEO to provide personnel and staffing services. Duties included: Staffing CNA, RN, LPN and
support positions, managing self-funded workers compensation and health plans, policy development and
implementation. Left for return to manufacturing and a better opportunity.

Sales and Marketing Representative. June 1992 to June 1996
Traveled extensively through out the SouthEast calling on Home Depot, Lowes, Builders Square, Home
Quarter and 84 Lumber stores. My duties included: Increasing display space, managing new store display
installation, home site visits, market research, and sales and product knowledge training. Left due to
opportunity in Human Resources.
