2.0 ABSTRACT

Creativity is the ability to think and act in ways that are new and novel. In our minds,
there are two kinds of creativity, innovation and invention. Innovation is thinking creatively
about something that already exists (e.g., the tape recorder, Walkman, and CD player are all
innovations on the phonograph). Invention is creating something that did not exist before (e.g.
the phonograph). A business example illustrates the difference clearly. When a team bases its
plans on the way the team has operated in the past, they are open only to innovation, such as
increasing efficiency. However, a team that is inventive will ask itself: Can we create a different
way to operate, one that will produce a different way of doing business?

Experimentation is the process by which people become creative. When you experiment,
you don't know the outcome. You can only guess. Often, experimentation leads to a surprise --
something you didn't expect. This is the power of creativity.

Organizations today need more invention than innovation. This means that people in
organizations need to release their creativity in ways that are quite different from the tried-and-
true methods of the past. It also means that organizations need to be open to more
experimentation to find out what works and what doesn't.

3.0 INTRODUCTION

Oil and natural gas are naturally occurring chemicals that are made up of just two
elements -- carbon and hydrogen. The class of chemicals based on carbon and hydrogen are
called hydrocarbons.

The simplest hydrocarbon, methane, is made up of one carbon atom and four hydrogen
atoms. Other hydrocarbons like octane and octadecane have more complicated structures.
Plastics are made of molecules called polymers that are very long chains of hydrocarbons.

Stage 1 - All of the oil and gas we use today began as microscopic plants and animals
living in the ocean millions of years ago. As these microscopic plants and animals lived, they
absorbed energy from the sun, which was stored as carbon molecules in their bodies. When they
died, they sank to the bottom of the sea. Over millions of years, layer after layer of sediment and
other plants and bacteria were formed.

Stage 2 - As they became buried ever deeper, heat and pressure began to rise. The amount
of pressure and the degree of heat, along with the type of biomass, determined if the material
became oil or natural gas. More heat produced lighter oil. Even higher heat or biomass made
predominantly of plant material produced natural gas.

Stage 3 - After oil and natural gas were formed, they tended to migrate through tiny pores
in the surrounding rock. Some oil and natural gas migrated all the way to the surface and
escaped. Other oil and natural gas deposits migrated until they were caught under impermeable
layers of rock or clay where they were trapped. These trapped deposits are where we find oil and
natural gas today.

4.0 OBJECTIVE

i. To analyze use of effects in the advertisement to obtain clear vision of creativity

ii. To identify any creativity element that exist in the video.

iii. Define creativity and innovation of the video.

5
5.0 ELEMENT OF CREATIVITY

a) Choice of Colour

This animation shows variety of colour that attract viewer to put more interest on
it. With various of colour, audience shows more understanding about figure or diagram
shown on the video. Colour also give an advantages to the design for better visual output.

b) Visual Movement

Visual movement effect on the video helps more effective explanation about
process occur. Its also give an imagination to audience to imagine real occurrence
happened at site.

c) 2-Dimensional Visual

6
The function of 2-Dimensional Visual is to give viewer clearly imagination about
size of an object of what they looking to. Moreover 2-Dimensional Visual also less
complex than 3-Dimensional Visual, so image of the object in the video give a simply
looking but understanding.

d) Huge View

Huge view give clear information and visualization in large scale of the image.
On that images, we can see detail flow of extraction of oil and gases occur.

e) Labeled Object

Image that shows on the video is labeled with subtitle and names of object given.
This give better understanding to viewer to adapt type of object shown on video.
Furthermore, this labeled object is used simple language to their level of understanding.

7
f) Arrow of Movement

Arrow of movement in video shows location of oil transport one to another. With
arrow of movement we can know knows exact place of oil transport and avoid
misunderstanding.

g) Complete Process Distribution

8
With complete process distribution we all can knows better explanation all in one
picture. Otherwise, complete process distribution gives complete networking stages.

h) Variety Shape of Item

There a lot of element of creativity on this video, for example the choose of
shape. Variety shape gives attraction to viewer such as symbol of object. Its also gain
simple knowledge to understanding of image given.

6.0 CONCLUSION

As conclusion, from the video, we can conclude that this video success to create a
creativity input which is use variety element of creativity to attract viewer and audience.
Creativity improves pupils self-esteem, motivation and achievement Pupils who are encouraged
to think creatively and independently become more interested in discovering things for
themselves, more open to new ideas, keen to work with others to explore idea or vision. As a
result, their pace of learning, levels of achievement and self-esteem increase.

By providing rich and varied contents for people to acquire, develop and apply a broad
range of knowledge, understanding and skills, the curriculum should enable people to think
creatively and critically, to solve problems and to make a difference for the better. It should give
them the opportunity to become creative, innovative, enterprising and capable of leadership to
equip them for their future lives as workers and citizens. With creativity, there would be no
progress, and we would be forever repeating the same patterns? Edward de Bono.
