WEEK 1 - Overview
Movement /Listening Booth- Fossils
Students pretend to be burglars who sneak into a museum when it is closed. They "play" on the dinosaur
bones during the A section while the guard has fallen asleep and they freeze into dinosaur shapes for
the B and C sections of the rondo when the guard wakes up. students experience repetition in a rondo
form. Assess for ability to respond to same/different in a listening example.

Review improv poem with measures of rest

improvising skills. We will also learn about an
OSTINATO and practice how to perform a rhythmic
