EXT. MITOSIS NIGHT CLUB

ESTABLISHING SHOT - CAMERA 1 - DOLLY IN
A layer of pink blood vessels partially obscures larger
purple blood vessels in the distance.
A rotating cell appears far off in the distance as the
camera moves moves forward through the pink blood vessels.
The camera slows to a stop as it comes close to the cell.
The cell has stopped rotating and a sign is visible at the
top of it reading 'MITOSIS'.
The cell slides open like a door and the camera moves
forward into it.
INT. MITOSIS NIGHT CLUB - CONTINUOUS
ESTABLISHING SHOT - CAMERA 2 - STILL
It is dark inside, a block of text reads 'PROPHASE' in pink
and orange. A pair of sister chromatids are condensing as
they dance together.
CU - CAMERA 3 - STILL
A pair of pink and orange disco balls move apart around the
edges of the club as the light rays they give out extend.
MID SHOT - CAMERA 2 - STILL
The sister chromatids continue to dance.
MID SHOT - CAMERA 4 - STILL
Spotlights outside of the club change from pink to orange.
INT. MITOSIS NIGHT CLUB - CONTINUOUS
ESTABLISHING SHOT - CAMERA 2 - STILL
A block of text reads 'PROMETAPHASE' in orange and yellow.
The inner wall of the club disappears as the sister
chromatids dance.
CU - CAMERA 3 - STILL
Orange light rays from a yellow disco ball get longer.
CU - CAMERA 2 - STILL
A light ray attaches to a centromere on a sister chromatid.

More rays attach to centromeres.

Spotlights outside of the club change from orange to yellow.

A block of text reads 'METAPHASE'. The sister chromatids are
dancing around, some attached to rays of light.
CU - CAMERA 2 - STILL
Light rays cross each other.
MID SHOT - CAMERA 2 - STILL
Dancing pairs line up and move around a point in the center
of the club.
CU - CAMERA 2 - STILL
Rays attach to more centromeres.
MID SHOT - CAMERA 4 - STILL
Spotlights outside of the club change from yellow to green.

ESTABLISHING SHOT - CAMERA 2 - STILL
A block of text reads 'ANAPHASE'. The chromatids are lined
up in front of the text and then they are pulled apart.
MID SHOT - CAMERA 2 - STILL
A dancer is pulled towards a disco ball by a ray of light.
CU - CAMERA 3 - STILL
The rays of light are shrinking back into a disco ball.
MID SHOT - CAMERA 2 - STILL
A dancer on the other side of the cell is pulled towards the
other disco ball by a ray of light.
MID SHOT - CAMERA 4 - STILL
Spotlights outside of the club change from green to blue.

ESTABLISHING SHOT - CAMERA 2 - STILL

A block of text reads 'TELOPHASE'. Single dancers sway on
either side of the text, they are no longer attached to rays
of light.
MID SHOT - CAMERA 2 - STILL
One side of the club is shown with single dancers twirling.
CU - CAMERA 3 - STILL
The rays of light return almost entirely into a disco ball.
MID SHOT - CAMERA 2 - STILL
The other side of the club is shown with single dancers
twirling.
MWS - CAMERA 2 - STILL
The inner wall sweeps back in.
MWS - CAMERA 2 - STILL
The inner wall sweeps back in on the other side of the club.
CU - CAMERA 4 - STILL
The spotlights fade.

ESTABLISHING SHOT - CAMERA 1 - STILL
The sign now reads 'CYTOKINESIS'.
MID SHOT - CAMERA 1 - STILL
One side of the cell is shown as it pulls apart.
MID SHOT - CAMERA 1 - STILL
The other side of the cell is shown as it pulls apart.
MWS - CAMERA 1 - DOLLY OUT
The sign has vanished and the cell has split. The two cells
are rotating and one of them moves out of shot. The camera
moves back. Other cells begin to fill the shot in a circular
pattern.
MID SHOT - CAMERA 1 - ZOOM
Zoom back into the original cell, the sign reading 'MITOSIS'

is in place above the door.

A further configuration of cells is moving in different
patterns.
MID SHOT - CAMERA 1 - STILL
The original circular pattern of cells. The music credits
cut in from the right, filling that half of the shot. The
animation credits fill the screen and then the text splits
apart.
