My introduction for this lesson will be singing make a circle song. I will do it with
them after our morning routine. In this song we will be focusing only on the shapes

( creating a pattern) and after the song I will do with them some activities in the
smartboard to warm them up.

Time:
Before going to the groups, I will divide them according to their level because they
have different level and each level should have a specific activity that its easy for
them and can do it easily.

Low level: Students will have to follow up the pattern that in the pictures
that in front of them
Time:
Medium level: Students will have only three shapes from the pattern and
they should complete it.
High level: students in this level they will have to make their own pattern,
but different patter a d they will follow the pattern that they create.

After the activities, I will revise with them the shapes, we will have to do an
activity with each other and it will be creating a pattern or complete the
patterns.

This lesson was my first math lesson that I taught in Al Resalah International
School. It was about shapes and how to create a pattern. In this lesson plan, as I
said I will put for them Make A Circle song, but I couldnt because MST told me
that its not allowed to put a music in this school because its an Islamic school.
And because of their huge number, we couldnt do the song, so I decided to do it
at the PE class for them. My B plan was first, introducing the concept by showing
them the shapes, and after that, I showed them some patterns and how we can
create patterns. After the warming up and introducing the concept for them, I
divided them into groups. Each group will have a different activity. Frist group is
low level, I let them copy the pattern that is in the picture. For medium level,
they completed the pattern that they have. High level, students in this level
created their own pattern. What I liked most in my lesson was, achieving my
learning outcomes, students interacted with me, they behaved well. The
difficulties were that my lesson plan changed suddenly, because of the song and
their number, but I solve it by using my B plan and I keep the song for the PE
class.
