Significant tasks and responsibilities, accounting for 85 95% of

time committed to position:

Leadership:

1. Create good team spirit and knowledge sharing environment between staf
members with in the Section and all others colleagues of the organization

2. Coach, mentor and consult and guide staf members how to handle a
certain task.

3. Manage and follow up the overall operations of the Section under the
guidance of the IT Operation and Service Delivery Manager.

Management (business/operations):

1. Assign tasks for each staf members and follow up the executions within
SLAs.

2. Prepare the work plan & budget for system resources, manpower, staf
training and necessary facilities requirements of the Section and submit to
the ITOSDM.

3. Evaluate each staf members under the Section based on their work
efectiveness and try to encourage each staf members to be efective in
discharging their responsibilities.

4. Prepare monthly/yearly report about all activities carried out in the


Section, identify strong and weak sides, and devise a mechanism how to
handle the challenges in consultations with ITOSDM.

Management (people):

Technical:

1. Participate in number of Strategic Project Implementations that enhances


financial technologies

2. Handle the daily operations of applications and databases of the unified


billing system, the mobile financial services application and other existing
and upcoming systems and insures that the systems are operational across
the platforms.
3. Report to IT Operation and Services Delivery Manager if a certain incident
beyond scope happened and try to search solution for the problem.

4. Participate in diferent meetings within Information Technology


Department and get knowledge and experience sharing from other Divisions
and Sections.

5. Participate in the preparation of IT policies for compatibility, control and


maintenance of integrity on the systems deployed.

Administrative:

1. Report and inform the overall operations and current status of the Section
to IT Operation and Services Delivery Manager

2. Select and approve the necessary staf for the Section, in collaboration
with HR.

3. Deploy and transfer staf in within the Section.

4. Participate in the selection and approval of appropriate technology


infrastructures to support the companys operation

5. Approve annual leave arrangements of direct reports and

6. Assist in supervising Over Time, Shift, punctuality/attendances of staf


members under the Section.

The Role

Position Objective
To undertake the complete management of the T24 Data Migration project within bank and
cooperate with Temenos, Technology, and Business Divisions so as to ensure completion of the
project within the targets agreed. The key objectives are as below
Manage and keep up to date a detail DM project plan agreed with all stakeholders
Cooperate with Temenos, Technology and Business users for the planning, review and
execution of the project activities
Run the Data Mapping Discussions Sessions
Follow up Data Mapping issues until resolution
Manage and follow up the transformation and loading activities and issues
In cooperation with other stakeholders implement the reconciliation strategy for the DM project
Monitor and support stakeholders in the write up of the MSDs and RSDs
Ensure that project timelines are not impacting the overall Program master plan
Manage Risks and Issues in cooperation with the PMO
Support Bank in various implementation activities

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables


Ensure that a detail project plan is in place and kept up to date
Oversee plan execution in cooperation with all key stakeholders
Closely cooperate with Temenos, Technology, and Business users so as to ensure the timely
delivery of project activities
Organize and run the weekly Data Migration review meetings ensuring the participation of all
stakeholders
Coordinate and execute Data Mapping sessions with the involvement of all stakeholders
Monitor the transformation development activities
Monitor the loading exercises and the loading issues resolution in a timely manner
Guide stakeholders in the preparation of the MSDs / RSDs and facilitate the reconciliation both
of static and financial information
Prepare a DM dashboard that will clearly depict the progress in all areas of the project
Monitor the project risks and issues timely resolution
Monitor the project actions timely resolution
Develop risk mitigation strategies, identify and resolve implementation risks in support of
quality and risk management processes
Resolve resource issues in cooperation with the Program management

Requirements

Specific Domain Experience/ Exposure


Experience in Project management of T24 Data Migration projects is a must
Solid understanding of packaged solution implementation life cycle, and preferably hands on
experience with Temenos Implementation Methodology (TIM)
Extensive experience with core banking solution implementation, with a proven delivery track
record in similar roles for complexity
Solid understanding of the technology architecture and infrastructure of Core Banking products
and solutions
Experience in working in a banking environment either with clients or vendors.
Strong project management skills
Ability to work with vendors and internal organization to define and execute the
implementation plan.
Ability to lead people and project work, and interact with varying levels of management
10-15 years experience
