introduce the SRS activity: Teacher will model addition with counting sticks. Students will practice
addition with counting sticks. Students will apply their addition skills to the Kahoot quiz.

SRS activity will be anonymous
Briefly describe what will happen during the SRS activity:
Students will respond to kahoot questions. Students may work individually, in pairs or in small groups.
Teacher will moderate the quiz and move from question to question. Teacher will also model counting on
fingers and addition skills.
Ideally, one tablet per student will be needed, as well as, a computer for the teacher. Quiz should be
displayed on a interactive white board or projector. The quiz activity should take roughly 15 minutes.

Describe what will occur after the SRS activity: Students who need remediation will have the chance to
re-take the quiz. Teacher will work one-on-one with students and provide counting sticks for their
remediation.
Describe your personal learning goal for this activity. I would like to see if student response tools are
functional and appropriate for students of this age. I would like to see if this form or technology is
beneficial for students of this age.
