This is was my favorite paper to write about because I was able to express what

Muslims in United America go through because of the so call terrors. I was also able to get let

people know that terrorist are not Muslims because God say not to kill someone unless it for a

good reason like the death penalty but terrorist kill people for no reason at all and worst of they

killed child do wont even know wrong from right. They are going against everything God told

Muslims not to. It give me chance to talk why Muslims dress the way they dress which was

important to because it is one thing a lot of people are mistaking about.

Islamophobia
In today world Muslims are harassed, murdered and abused due to the

increase of islamophobia in United States of America. there is assumes that all Muslims are

Terrorist and the that Muslims women are oppressed because of how they dress. Since Mr.

Trumps decided to run for presidency in 2015 the rise of islamophobia have getting high. Due

comments made by the now presidents during is campaigns about how Muslims are Terrorist and

Muslims women being oppressed. It is now hard for some Muslims to express their freedom of

religion outside. Women are scared to go outside with their Muslims on because of what people

might do to them once they are outside of their home with Hijab on. Which is not something that

should be happening. Muslims should not be scared to practice their religion whenever and

wherever they want to without be fearing what people might say or do to them. Muslims women

should have the freedom to dress however they want without anyone judging.

For examples in 2013-2015 Islamophobia Report. reveals that 33 Islamophobic groups in

the United States had access to at least $205 million in total revenue between 2008-2013. Among

the various impacts of Islamophobia in the U.S. reported in the study anti-Islam bills are

becoming law in 10 states. At least two states, Florida and Tennessee, passed laws revising the

way they approve textbooks for classroom use as a direct result of anti-Islam campaigns. In

2015, there were 78 recorded incidents in which mosques were targeted. In both November and

December of 2015, there were 17 mosque incidents reported during each of these months,

numbers almost equivalent to an entire year's worth of reports from the previous two years.
Let start by stating the meaning of Islamophobia. Islamophobia is closed-minded

prejudice against or hatred of Islam and Muslims. An Islamophobe is an individual who holds a

closed-minded view of Islam and promotes prejudice against or hatred of Muslim. There a lot of

that going on in United States right now.

According to the Washington post in September 16, 2016 a 35-year-old woman was

standing outside a Valentino store in Manhattan when, as she later told police, she felt heat on her

left side. Her blouse was on fire, and a man stood nearby with a lighter in his hand. He did this

because of the facts that she was wearing her hijab. Hijab is a good scar that Muslims women

wear in of adult males outside of their immediate family Police are investing it as hate crime

because of the facts she was a Muslims which is a good thing because something need to be done

by everyone to stop Islamophobia.

According human right fights. The rates of Islamophobia have been at its highest when

Trump decided to run for presidency in 2015. The number of hate crime is five times higher than

pre-9/11 rate. We need to come together to stop the hate crimes that Muslims are going through

around the world whether you are Muslims or not. When you guy a Muslims getting abuse in

public try putting yourself in their shoe and try you best to stop abuser. Dont be judgmental take

your time to found a Muslims whatever question you have instead of assuming all Muslims are

terrorist just like how not all terrorist are Muslims take look at Timothy McVeigh who did the

bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995. This was one of

the best the biggest act of terrorism. It killed 168 people 19 of those people killed were children.

He was not a Muslims he was an American born in New York.

One of the misunderstanding about Muslims that Muslims women are oppressed in Islam

some people believe that women in Islam are force to dress the way they dress which I found

hard to believe because when I decided to wear my hijab no one force me to do it I do it to show

respect to my creator which is Allah and that is what he commit me to do as Muslims women.

Allah say in the Quran O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that

they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient,

that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most

Merciful. So, when we cover our head we do it for the sake of Allah not for anyone else.

Sometimes people would give me dirty look because of how I am dress I dont pay attention to

them because I am not doing it for anyone so I dont really care if people judge for doing what I

believe is the best to protect myself. I believe that women who are not cover up is the one who

get oppressed the most because every day they are force to look good whether it is wearing

makeup, putting tight clothes on so that people will notice them.

My religion taught me that as women the best way to protect myself is covering up

because when I wear my hijab with abaya it keeps men from being looking at as a sexual object I

can get bad attitude from some people because how I am dress but, least they would not be

looking at me as a sex object. There was a service done by non-Muslims who wanted to know

how people men would judge her base on what she was wearing. When she wears the Islamic

clothing, no one pay attention to her, but when she changes into jean with her hair down and a t

shirt they wont stop starting at her and whistle because her beauty was out. Islam also has this

that believe that as men your paradise is at the feet of your mother so she is the best chance of

you going to heaven so be respectful to her.

I wish the president and his supporters would take the time to get know Muslims instead

of judging all Muslims because of the action of some so call Muslims. There a lot of good things

that Muslims have done to get the terrorism to stop, but you would have to look for those stories

because they media doesnt put a lot of them out there. An example of this would-be Omar

Suleiman an American Muslims and a Pastor from Texas deciding to join togethers so that they

can understand each other religion because of this now Omar in the protection of the FBI

because Isis deciding that what he was doing is against the religion of Islam they stated that a

Muslims and non-Muslims cant be seeing doing what they were doing. Someone decide that it

was a clever idea to break the stone at a Jewish Cemetery and send the threating messages.

Muslims decide to. fundraise 100k to repair the is that we dont hear about things like this a lot.
While I believe, there is Islamophobia in America but, I also believe that we Muslims

need to admit and recognize that we are partly to blame. God instructs Muslims in the Quran,

Do not curse the gods or beliefs of those who are not believers, least they insult God out of their

own ignorance, out of their own unawareness, really do not curse those who worship other than

God, lest they insult God out of their unawareness. Muslim jurists have used this verse to argue

that, if a person curses God as a reaction to our cursing, then we are responsible for their cursing

of God. This argument is also based on a hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, wherein he once told

his companions that cursed is a man who curses his own parents. When a companion

remonstrated that they do not curse their parents, the Prophet answered, When a man curses the

parents of another man, and in retaliation, that man curses his parents, he was responsible for his

own parents being cursed. I see this happening all the times Muslims cursing at other people

because they said something about them that they did not like or cursing at them for not agreeing

with them, and our Prophet told us that it is okay to let it go sometimes. A lot of people cursing at

him, but you never hear in one hadith (saying of Prophet Muhammad) that he is curse at

someone for doing anything to him. People would abuse him all the time but he will always be

praying for them. This is what we as Muslims should follow and I am not saying that it is easy

either, but we have to try our best. The examples of the what tell Prophet would that if you

cursing at someone you are really cursing at yourself so watch what you said to people. Treat me

the way you want them to treat you.

as a Muslims, it is our job to be open minded when people ask us questions about our

religion. You dont need to like the question, but it is your job to give the answer however you

get it if you dont the answer tell them to give you times to found the answer. Dont get mad

when they ask you questions that you think are stupid because some might do it just to get on

your nerves while really would really like to know. Just dont try to follow the examples of how

Our beloved prophet Muhammad (may peace and bless of Allah be upon him) did with the non-

Muslims. He stated that all mankind is the same the best of kind man our those who are listen to

their God and best to others around him or her. are not are Terrorist Muslims because they

against Allah and His Messenger Muhammad (pbh) Allah say in the Quran that killing one

person is as if you have kill the whole mankind save one is as if you save the whole mankind.

Basic what Allah saying is that if dont not kill someone unless it if for the death penalty, but are

Terrorist kills people for no reason at all. So that it the different between a Terrorist and Muslims.
Muslims should be treat just like everyone else because they are people too. They should

not be judge on the attitude of other people. They should be able to practice their religion

whatever they are and whenever they want to. We need to come together as one it does not

matter what races you are or what religion you are.
