Description
The project is about the history of Cambodia since after the World War 2. We will do it in
timeline that based on the stock exchange graph. The event that help Cambodia will
represented by the line going up and the event that has bad effect on Cambodia will represent
by the line going down, for a total of 15 events. Also, we will create a 3D model that will
represent Cambodia, which we are deciding whether to be the Angkor Wat or Bayon smile
figure.

Purpose
The purpose of this project is to inform the reader about Khmer rouge, modern cambodian,
history of khmer rouge, effect of khmer rouge to Cambodian. Most of the people heard about the
name Khmer Rouge but only a few of them know what it is, so we did this project to tell people
what it is and what happen to it now.

Research Questions
1. What is the effect of Khmer rouge to country and people of Cambodia?
2. Why Khmer rouge are able to control Cambodia?
3. Did Khmer Rouge takeover the government affect its neighboring countries?

This mind map is the first one that we make. It represented all the things we know
before researching anything about Cambodia, which is very little at that time.
Action Plan

Week1- Research about the history of Cambodia, fact about Cambodia and creating proposal
Week2- Research 15 important event and 5 important people. Summarize and understand the
cause and effect of the event.

Between week 2 and 3 - Print out images in Cambodia history

Week3- Research about symbol, information about the flag and national holidays. Summarize
all the information.

Between week 3 and 4 - Print out flag and the symbol/ Buy Material in creating timeline and
model

Week4-start the timeline and model
