WHAT THE TEACHERS SAY

Pressing Needs..

The greatest challenge at Southeast is consistency. While we

are a team, there are team players who are not consistent
with the students which makes the other team players job
harder and challenging.

Lack in student enrollment and limited reading and math

skills of students and shortage of resources are the
challenges of our school.

The greatest challenge for the teachers at Southeast is

developing lesson plans and contouring content so that it is
culturally relevant for our students. Our students largest
struggle is acknowledging that the classroom is a learning
environment and behaving accordingly.

School Culture

Teachers and the Team work - providing help and guidance

to one another to meet the expectations of our school is the
asset of our school.
 The greatest asset of Southeast is the family like
environment. The students see that we work together as a
family and team, which help them in realizing that they can't
put us against each other.

Southeast's greatest asset is the "Team Trojan" family. The

staff and students have developed relationships that facilitate
academic and personal growth. These bonds are translated
across curriculums and beyond the walls of the school
building. The Team Trojan family offers support in extra
curricular activities and community based projects in addition
to the structures provided in the classroom.

On Student Performance

Steadily increasing in its performance composite and

exceeded academic growth are the accomplishments.
Student growth and achievement and graduation rates
increased..

Southeast's greatest accomplishments include - consistently

exceeding growth, student based organizations receiving
national recognition, AdvancEd site visit contributing to the
district's accreditation, athletics in general.
