Undertaking by student visa applicant:

I wish to apply for the student visa from RAK Medical & Health Sciences University. I am fully aware
that I am not permitted to seek employment or work for any third party as my visa is sponsored for
my education by RAK MHSU. I take moral responsibility for my behavior and I shall abide by the rules
of RAK MHSU and laws of UAE.

I am aware that on completion of my studies at the institution or before leaving this country I should
get my visa cancelled by paying the cancellation fee. I am aware that failure to do so will result in
serious consequences as per Institution rules and UAE laws. I understand that the visa and related
services fee is subject to change as per amendment in UAE immigration rules from time to time. I am
prepared to make the payment every year a month before the visa expiry date. I am aware that any
delay in submission of the visa renewal documents will result in delay in stamping of visa and am
prepared to bear the fines incurred and the institution will not be responsible for the consequences, if
any.

I have read and understood the procedure to apply for visa sponsorship from RAK MHSU and agree to
abide by the rules and regulations of the university regarding visa procedures mentioned and will be
providing the required documents & paying the required fees to process/renew the visa.

Note for student visa applicants:

Students have to provide 10 clear passport-size photos & clear passport copy for visa
processing(scanned images will not be accepted by immigration authorities)
Student is advised to furnish a medical report prior to arrival in UAE, showing clearance from diseases
such as T.B, AIDS and Hepatitis. Upon landing in UAE, student will be required to undergo a medical test to rule
out these diseases as per UAE immigration rules. Only upon passing the medical test every year, students visa
will renewed and they can continue with the studies at the University.
At the time of applying for visa, if a student is within UAE on a visit visa OR on another resident visa,
additional fees have to be paid as per immigration rules towards charges for in-country visa change & local
amendment.
If a student is outside the country, the visa will be deposited at airport only after flight details are
informed well in advance and a scanned copy of air ticket is to be e-mailed to admissions@rakmhsu.ac.ae.
Alternatively a relative can be authorized by the student to collect the visa from the institution when it is ready
and deposit it at the airport.
Visa restrictions for certain countries may apply as per UAE rules from time to time, institution is not
responsible if the visa application is rejected by UAE immigration department for any reason and fee will not be
refunded. Admission of any student whose visa is denied by UAE immigration will be automatically cancelled.
Student visa holders will be provided with a free health card for one year. With this card, students can
utilize subsidized treatment at Government hospitals at RAK. However student will have to renew it every year
on their own by making the required payment at the hospital, in addition to the health insurance which is
compulsory.
