also the effects consistent stress can cause a person to be more prone to illness. While also

stating the common conditions stress tends to bring to a person who doesnt use proper coping

mechanisms to heal stress.

I used information from the article Stress because I knew this was a credible source with

information that I can rely on being factual. This article came from a website called Literati by

Credo that I found on the Louisiana State Universitys library catalog for research purposes. The

website Literati by Credo consists of full text entries in many reference books. The text article on

stress comes from an Encyclopedia of Womens Health. Sana Loue JD, PhD, MPH and Martha

Sajatovic MD are the authors of this encyclopedia. Another credible organization that is

affiliated with this source is the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine,

Cleveland, USA. I trust the information from this source with the many credible professionals

that put this information together.

This source was helpful to me and my argument. I used many points talked about in this article
to prove how much of an effect stress has on a persons body. It also gave me a better

understanding of what stress is in relatable terms which made it easier to write my letter. It

shaped my letter by helping me explain how stress can come naturally from hard working

personalities but can be very harmful to their health by causing many conflicts later in life.

I used the information from this source because of how credible author is. Stress Management:

Approaches for preventing and reducing stress was written by Harvard Medical School and

published by Boston, MA: Harvard Health Publications. I found this credible source for research

on stress from the Louisiana State Universitys library catalog. This source came from a book

that had been edited by Herbert Benson, MD and Aggie Casey, MS, RN. I trust that this source
consisted of factual information that was researched and tested by many intelligent professional

doctors and specialists.

This source fits with my research by helping me explain in my letter the scientific understanding

my argument.

Todaro-Franceschi, V. (2013). Caregiver Burnout. In E. Capezuti, The encyclopedia of elder

The article, Caregiver Burnout explains what a burnout and how a person who has a job that

cares for other people can tend to burn themselves out in the demand to meet the needs of other

peoples care. A burnout happens when physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion takes over a

person by draining to an extent that they are basically done and lose interest in work, relations,

and life. The article has good information on what leads to a burnout and what different types

there are. It also provides ways for people who have experienced a burn out to heal with the

coping strategies, support groups, and resources you can turn to for help.

The article Caregiver Burnout is a credible source from a book called, The Encyclopedia of

Elder Care: The comprehensive resource on geriatric health and social care that I used in my

project. This book was edited by many professionals such as, Elizabeth A. Capezuti PhD, RN,
FAAN, Paul R. Katz MD, Michael L. Malone MD, Mathy Mezey DSc, EdD, MED, BSN to

make it a credible source for people using the information.

This source helped tie my paper together by being the main topic of the paper. It gave me

information what exactly a burnout is and how the person in my case study suffered from this

after his work over load. I started my letter off with the definition from this article of what a burn

out is so I could back it up with examples of how the person had this condition. I used the

information from this article to further explain why a burnout on a persons health is unhealthy

as the stress of needing to fulfill all work duties puts extra unneeded stress on a human body. The

article, Caregiver Burnout also informed me on how to go about the behavior of a person who

is going through a burnout so I could give advice to the person in my case study.
