Jose Rizal and Andres Bonifacio

Jose P. Rizal and Andres Bonifacio are two of the most popular Filipino heroes. This is because of their
obvious and incomparable deeds for the freedom of our country from the conquest of the Spaniards. Rizal was
from a wealthy family. He went abroad to study and to learn many things that he used as his weapon from the
abusive governance of Spaniards. Two of his popular books are Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo which
awakened the nationalism of the Filipinos to fight for their freedom. He used his knowledge and wisdom to fight
against the Spaniards, while Bonifacio fought by his bolo and gun. Unlike Rizal, Bonifacio was from a poor family.
Because of too much abuse he experienced from the Spaniards, he organized his fellow Filipinos, who also abused
by the conquerors to fought for their rights, and they called their organization as KKK. Katipunero
combatively fought the conquerors with their weapons.
Rizal and Bonifacio died because of their love for the Philippines.

Philippines

Philippines is a country that located in the south-east Asia. It is composed of more than 7,000 islands which
are blessed with the beauty of nature. It is well known for its beautiful places and landmarks that fascinate every
visitor or tourist. It has an underground river in Palawan that is being well known for its crystal- clear river that
flows under a majestic cave. It has Boracay beach with white sands and crystal- clear water. It has the beautiful
Chocolate hills in Bohol where you can see the well-known Tarsier, the worlds smallest primate. It has the perfect
cone- shaped Mayon volcano in Albay. It has the amazing rice terraces in Benguet. It is also blessed with different
kind of trees and animals .furthermore, it is also blessed with people who give their warm welcome anyone who
wishes to see the beauty of their country.

The Cause and Effect of Deforestation

The forests of the Philippines hold many kinds of trees and animals which some are endemic or can be seen
only in the country. However, they are being destroyed rapidly because of the rapid growth of the population. More
population means more demands ,so that some of the places that was originally planted with trees are being
converted for residential, commercial, and economical purposes. Because of poverty people engage themselves to
illegal logging wherein the trees, even not matured enough, are being cut off without planting seedlings as
replacement. Sad to say, illegal logging and burning of forest are the source of income of some Filipinos especially
with those who reside near the mountains. Forests are being burned to convert into an agricultural field, while some
parts are being destroyed by illegal mining.
Without a concrete program or steps from the government to protect our forests as well as to give dignified
livelihood to the people, a time will come that forests are just already an Story

Technology: Boon or Bane?
Since we used technology in our everyday life, we should know if it is a boon or bane.
Technology is very useful in our lives. We use technologies in our daily activities and needs. If we have a
family or a relative who is working abroad, by using cellphones we can now talk to him/her as they are just beside
us.In school, we can surf the internet to search for our assignments and lessons. These are some of the good use of
technology, however it can deteriorate our lives when we abused and misused it. One can surf the internet to watch
porns. Some youths are getting addicted to online games that they forget to do their responsibilities. Some are
using social media to do character assassination. At the end, technology is a boon or bane base on how we used it.

How to Add Slide Transition

Transition is a visual effect that appears when you move from one slide to another. You can add a transition
in your MS Word 2010. First, bring the slide to which you want to add transition. Next, click on transition tab in
the Ribbon. Click on a transition. Then, click on the down arrow of the Effect Options. Last, click on the effect
setting for transition.
