HARDWOOD MOULDINGS
The mouldings shown in the first half of this book are primarily
kept in pine or poplar. Beginning on page 46 is Dykes selection
of red oak profiles. These are stock items, kept in inventory
and ready for immediate sale. We are also stocking a growing
number of items in cherry, maple and mahogany. These items
are marked with a bullet () in this catalog. Of course, almost any
item can be made in any wood on a special order basis.
PRIMED FINGER-JOINT PINE MOULDINGS

We currently stock about 30 popular items in an exterior glue,
finger-jointed and primed pine as well as a solid pine or poplar.
This allows these patterns to be inventoried in desirable lengths
(primarily 16) and the priming saves time on finishing. These are
economical and labor saving products when the moulding is to
be painted. These items are marked with an asterisk (*) in this
catalog.
PRIMED ULTRALIGHT MDF MOULDINGS

Dykes is also inventorying over 35 in Truchoice ultralight
medium density fiberboard from Arauco. Ultralight mouldings
work and feel like wood, come in 16 lengths with an
exceptional priming and are a great value. These items are
marked with a diamond ( ) in this catalog.
PVC MOULDINGS & BOARDS

Dykes now carries a line of PVC mouldings and boards
for low maintenance and high durability in exterior applications.
FLEXIBLE MOULDINGS
Most Dykes patterns are now available in a flexible resin which
is ideal for round top or eyebrow windows, arched doorways,
rounded walls or stairways or any other curved application.
ELECTRONIC CATALOG
The complete line of Dykes moulding drawings are now
available on CD or via website in DWG, PDF, EPS or JPG
file formats. These are professionally drawn two dimensional
images which can be imported directly into plans or documents.
