In the poem of The Creation Of Sam McGee is about how the narrator and sam mcgee went out
for gold. Sam McGee was so cold he couldnt handle it. while they were searching for gold sam mcgee
had a last request for his friend and that was to cremate his last remains. When Sam McGee died his
friend cremated him in a boat they found. When he was being cremated sam mcgee friend left then went
to check on sam mcgee again then he thinks that sam mcgee was talking to him while smiling at him. In
onomatopoeia.
In the poem The Cremation Of Sam McGee the author uses onomatopoeia. One example of a
onomatopoeia is For I didnt like to hear him Sizzle so. This means that when sam mcgee body was in
the fire he was sizzling. This also means that when his body was left in the fire all his remains were
getting burned making a sizzle noise. One other example of onomatopoeia is And the heavens
Scrowled. This means when something mimics the sound of an object. This also means that when the
poem said scrowled it sounded real. Those are examples of how the author used onomatopoeia.
In the poem The Cremation Of Sam McGee the author uses hyperbole. One example of
hyperbole is Its the cursed cold. This means that the coldness was so cold it felt like a curse. This also
means that its hyperbole because the cold isnt really cursed. Another example of hyperbole is Ill cash
in this trip I guess. This means that its a hyperbole because you can not really cash in the trip. This also
means that he would really like to get what he is looking for. This is how the author used hyperbole in
the poem.
In the poem The Cremation Of Sam McGee the author uses personification. One example of
personification is The northern lights have seen queer sights. This means that the northern lights are
trying to compare them to humans. This also means that they dont really have eyes to see so they are
trying to compare them to people. Another example of personification is The Arctic trails have their
secret tales. This is an example of personification because the Arctic trail is not living and can not keep
a secret like humans can. It also means that it is just exaggerating because its not alive like humans.
In the poem The Cremation Of Sam McGee the author used hyperbole, personification, and
onomatopoeia to give us emotions, and imagery. The poem made me feel weird and sad. The poem made
me sad because sam mcgee died. I still have pictures of sam mcgee in the fire and the sun wrapping
around sam mcgee. This is how the poem made me have feeling and imagery. In the poem The
Cremation Of Sam Mcgee the author gave the readers emotions, and imagery. The author gave us
