Display the last numerical value for the selected Interval, for each filtered flow

Availability or Availability (%): the percentage of time the circuit was available
for service while meeting or exceeding the SLA metrics. Availability is calculated
by subtracting the UAS value from the reporting period duration and dividing the
result by the reporting period duration.

2015 Viavi Solutions, Inc. | Viavi Confidential and Proprietary Information 31

Main Flows panel, Numeric View
UAS: Unavailable Seconds
On the Numeric View, the value is the number of seconds when the circuit was
unavailable for service while not meeting SLA metrics. UAS is calculated by
multiplying the reporting period duration by the Frame Loss Rate (FLR)
If there is no FLR, the UAS is set to the reporting period duration if the Average
Frame Delay (FD) for the reporting period exceeds the Average FD threshold or
the Average Inter-Frame Delay Variation (IFDV) for the reporting period exceeds
the UAS Average IFDV threshold

Main Flows panel, Numeric View
FLR or FLR (%): Frame Loss Rate. A percentage of the number of lost frames

For Ethernet flows that have been determined to carry voice traffic using a particular voice codec, both R-
factor and Mean Opinion Score (MOS) metrics are provided

MOS: Mean Opinion Score - A value are derived from the R-Factor per ITU-T Recommendation G.10
which measures VoIP call quality. (counted in both directions - higher of the two counts is reported)
R-factor: Rating Factor (R-Factor) - A value derived from metrics such as latency, jitter, and packet loss
per ITU-T Recommendation G.107, the R-Factor value helps you quickly assess the quality-of-experience
for VoIP calls on your network. (counted in both directions - higher of the two counts is reported)

report criteria and other system activities).
Avoid the wait and free up resources by scheduling this report to run on a period
basis. Then, at a convenient time, you can use the View Report

For ad-hoc reports, you can reduce the run time by configuring the report in such
a way that reduces the amount of data to be processed (by using more restrictive
filters, for example).

You could also reduce the run time by using Delivery method
Save the report, and not display it, at a convenient time
Deliver the Report in an email (if SMTP server configured by administrator)

Loop Back?. Indicates whether Loop Back was configured for this SOAM PM Flow (Y for yes, N for no).
Stats 1/2-way?. Shows whether system is configured to collect one-way or two-way Frame Delay (FD) or
Inter-Frame Delay Variation (IFDV) measurements.
CIR (Mbps). Committed Information Rate for the circuit, depending on Flow configuration
Delivered Throughput (Mbps). The bandwidth delivered through the Network Element.
Delivered Throughput/CIR (%). The most recent throughput divided by the most recent CIR defined for
the flow.
Offered Throughput : The bandwidth received at the Network Element
Accepted Throughput : The bandwidth accepted by the Network Element. Accepted Throughput is
based on CIR and EIR.
Average Delivered Throughput: Measured in megabytes, Delivered Throughput can be recorded in the
A->Z or Z->A direction. On reports, the Average Delivered Throughput is calculated in the A->Z and Z->A
direction. The largest Average Delivered Throughput is shown on the report as the Average Delivered
Throughput.

SLA Violation. Indicates whether the flow is in violation of the SLA (Yes) or not (No), based on SLA
threshold value for UAS. If the flow is not in violation, the background color of the cell is green.
Availability (%). The percentage of time the circuit was available for service while meeting or exceeding
the SLA metrics. Availability is calculated by subtracting the UAS value from the reporting period duration
and dividing the result by the reporting period duration. On reports, the smallest availability is displayed.
(computed in both directions lower of the two percentages is reported)

2015 Viavi Solutions, Inc. | Viavi Confidential and Proprietary Information 64

KPI reported
UAS. The number of seconds when the circuit was unavailable for service while not meeting SLA metrics.
UAS is calculated by multiplying the reporting period duration by the Frame Loss Rate (FLR). If there is
no FLR, the UAS is set to the reporting period duration if the Average FD for the reporting period exceeds
the UAS Average FD threshold or the Average IFDV for the reporting period exceeds the UAS Average
IFDV threshold. On reports, the largest UAS is displayed. (UAS is calculated in both directions and the
higher of the two UAS is reported)
FLR (%). The number of lost frames divided by the total number of frames as reported by the Network
Element. On reports, the FLR is calculated in the A->Z and Z->A directions. The largest FLR is shown on
the report as the FLR
FD (ms). Shows the average and maximum frame delay, in milliseconds. FD is measured by the Network
Element and can be recorded as a oneway or twoway measurement. On reports, the Average FD is
calculated in the A->Z and Z->A direction. The largest Average FD is shown on the report as the Average
FD. The Maximum FD is the largest Maximum FD in the A->Z or Z->A direction.
IFDV (ms). Shows the average and maximum frame delay variation, in milliseconds. IFDV is measured
by the Network Element and can be recorded as a oneway or twoway measurement. On reports, the
Average IFDV is calculated in the A->Z and Z->A direction. The largest Average IFDV is shown on the
