Google Cardboard Lesson Plan

Frameworks:
3.1 Define elements of design as related to housing (color, form, line, space, texture)

Objectives:
Students will be able to identify and apply the elements and principles of design to real life architectural structures they will find
utilizing Google Cardboard headsets and Google Street View.

Essential Question(s):
What elements of design are most essential to making a structure memorable?

Assessments:
Participants will be assessed based on their participation in discussion of the elements and principles of design. Furthermore,
participants will be assessed using an exit slip in the form of a short response to gather overall understanding of the content at
the end of the lesson.

Materials:
Smart Phone (with Google Cardboard and Google Street View downloaded on the device)
Google Cardboard Headset
Cardboard Exploration Handout
