Big Idea: A fun art activity for children. Plus it also helps with the small motor skills.

Objectives:
The objective is the children are able to take the stickers off the sheet to be
able to put it on the starfish.
Materials: Color paper
Scissor
Stickers of fish
Pen

Anticipatory Set:
(Hook & Hold) I have a lot of new toys for Beach/Hawaiian Theme. Have you played with any of the toys
before?

Procedures: First you would grab some color paper to print with starfish on them. Then you would cut
the starfish out from the paper. I then write the names of the children on the back of the
starfish to know whose was whose.

Closure: Did you have fun putting the stickers on the starfish? What do you think of starfish?

Adaptations: The purpose of this lesson is to see how the children use their small motor skills. The special
needs for this activity is to have color paper for one of the child to be able to see where to
put the stickers.
