means Spring Cleaning! All
available helpers should meet in the
Fellowship Hall kitchen on Monday,
May 1, at 9 AM. Not to exclude
anyone, men are also invited to
help! Bring the tools of your choice
and see you there!

May 4th: Kids Club/Date Night- Drop your
newborn through 6th grader off at the Fellowship
Hall between 5-5:30 and go have an evening out on
us! Your child will be provided supper and fun
activities with adult supervision. Pick your child
back up by 8. Please use todays Registration Slip
to reserve a spot.
June 9th & 10th: Christian Cross Festival at
Skyview Lake. Gather your friends and family and
plan to attend this free annual event. National
bands & speakers, childrens tent, inflatables,
kayakingGREAT fun for all ages! Watch future

June 22nd: Music in the Park at Skyview Lake.
6-9:30 PM Bring a lawnchair or blanket, your
favorite beverage & snacks, and join your St.
Johns family under the yellow windsock for a free
evening of fun & fellowship. All ages welcome!
SPRING GARDEN WORK DAY
Heres your chance to get yourself and
the gardens at St. Johns in shape!
Tuesday, May 4th we will begin spring
cleaning the grounds around 5 PM or
whenever you arrive. We will be
cleaning up the flower beds a bit and
getting rid of the early crop of weeds.
Trash bags and weed killer will be
provided.
Bring whatever tools you like to use.
Also, please be thinking of any projects
we should be accomplishing in 2017. If
this day doesnt work or is rained out,
we will use May 11 as an alternate day
for cleanup. Young and old invited no

of Love focusing on how we might
extend loving hands and hearts to
address the needs of children in our
community and world. Guest
Speaker, Laura Stoltz, thereapist,
will speak about trying to
understand childhood autism. For

Beginning May 22nd through June
16th St. Johns will be delivering
Meals on Wheels. Many volunteers
are needed to pick up meals at the
Senior Center at 10:45 am and
deliver them within the community.
It takes about 60-90 minutes to
deliver the meals depending on the
route. Route maps are available in
advance so you are able to acquaint
yourself with the area. Please
consider delivering for a 5-day week.
Everyone is encouraged to h elp
with this ministry. You can sign up
on the Registration Slip today or

THANK YOU to all the helping
hands who packed Mercy Meals on
Tuesday evening. We were able to
pack 5,832 meals to be shipped
where needed.
