WE DO NOT SELL PARENTS

There was once a young couple who entered the best toy business in the city.

The husband and wife looked closely at the toys that were displayed in the windows
or in disorder on the showcases.

There were many dolls that cried and laughed as they moved, electric toys, kitchens
that even warmed to cook cakes and toy pizzas. The young couple, however, did not
decide to choose. Then a friendly employee approached them.

"Look," the wife explained, "we have a very young girl, but we are away from home
all day and often are also absent at night."

"It's a girl who smiles little," added the husband.

"We would like to buy something that will make her happy," continued the wife,
"happy also when we are not with her ... Something that gives her joy when she is
alone at home."

"I'm sorry," the clerk replied politely, "but we do not sell parents."

NO VENDEMOS PADRES

Haba una vez una joven pareja que entr en el mejor negocio de juguetes de la
ciudad.

El marido y la esposa miraron con mucha atencin los juguetes que estaban
expuestos en los escaparates o en desorden en las vitrinas.
Haba muchas muecas que lloraban y rean mientras se movan, juguetes elctricos,
cocinas que incluso se calentaban para cocinar pasteles y pizzas de juguete. La joven
pareja, sin embargo, no se decida a elegir. Entonces, un empleado amistoso se
acerc a ellos.

"Mire" le explic la esposa, "nosotros tenemos una nia muy pequea, pero estamos
fuera de casa todo el da y a menudo tambin estamos ausentes en la noche".

"Es una nia que sonre poco, aadi el marido".

"Querramos comprarle algo que la haga feliz" prosigui la esposa, "feliz tambin
cuando nosotros no estamos con ella... Algo que le d alegra cuando est sola en
casa. "

"Lo lamento" contest amablemente el empleado, "pero nosotros no vendemos

padres".
