Application Instructions

Clean, sound and dry, homogeneous, free from grease,
Substrate Quality dust and loose particles. Paint, laitance and other
poorly adhering particles must be removed. Standard
construction rules must be observed.

Substrate Preparation All surfaces must be clean, sound, free from oil and
grease and properly cured. Remove all loose
materials, dust and laitance mechanically with a wire
brush, or by grit blasting. Surface may be dry or
damp, but must be free of any standing water. It is
advisable to mask off adjacent areas to prevent
possible discolouration.

Laminations Substrate Humidity Maximum moisture content of
substrate should be no greater than 8%.

Apply Chemrite Primer -3 evenly in a thin layer by

brush or roller. Allow to flash off for at least 1 hour

before application of sealant. Sealant should be
applied within 24 hours of applying Chemrite Primer
-3.

Clean all tools and application equipment
Cleaning Tools immediately after use. Hardened/ cured material
can only be mechanically removed .
