CHEMRITE NN(A)

High Range Water-Reducing Concrete Admixture

________________________________________________________
Product Chemrite-NN(A) is a liquid superplasticizer for
Description production of free flowing concrete, acting as a
substantial water-reducing agent for promoting high
early and ultimate strengths.
_________________________________________________________________
Uses Chemrite-NN(A) is used as a super plasticizer in the
production of free flowing concrete, such as
- R.C. slabs, raft, footings.
- Walls, columns and piers
- Pre-cast and prestressed concrete elements
- Bridges decks
- Concrete where formwork must be removed quickly
or early loading can be applied
__________________________________________________________________
Advantages Chemrite-NN(A) exhibits the following properties:
- Workability enhanced at reduced water/cement ratio.
- Increased placeability in slender components with
densely packed reinforcement.
- Early setting of concrete.
- Significantly reduces the risk of segregation &
bleeding

Dosage 0.6 2 % by weight of cement. Trial mixes are
recommended to establish exact dosage rates
__________________________________________________________________
Dispensing Chemrite-NN(A) can be added to the mixing water
prior to its addition to the concrete mixer.
Chemrite-NN(A) can also be added to the concrete
immediately prior to discharge and further mixing
has taken place for at least three more minutes.
__________________________________________________________________
Concrete Placing The standard rules of good concreting practice
(production as well as placing) must be observed
when using Chemrite-NN(A) concrete
__________________________________________________________________
Curing Fresh concrete must be cured properly, especially at
high temperatures in order to prevent plastic and
drying shrinkage.
__________________________________________________________________
Compatibility Chemrite-NN(A) is compatible with silica fume and
sulphate resistant cement. Consult our Technical
Services Department for further guidance.
__________________________________________________________________
Cleaning Clean all equipment and tools with water
immediately after use.
__________________________________________________________________
Remarks When accidental overdosing occurs, concrete set is
adversely affected. During this period the concrete must
be kept moist in order to prevent premature drying out.
