Nose creek Readers THEATRE PRESENTS:

AN AFTERNOON OF MYSTERY
You have been given the job of creating an original Readers Theatre
Mystery to be presented by you and your group during class time. Your
group of 4-5 should be submitting:

Typed, double space, 12 pt. font, bold names: (italic
emotional) regular dialoge
o ex) Mr. Lafferty: (in a scared and faint voice) Oh dear!

Mrs. Yae: (with a sinister snarl) Because Im sick of
you!

Well established roles for each group member


Include at least three clues/hints for your audience
Include at least one Red Herring and one Alibi
Your story has to make sense
Your Readers Theatre should last at least 5 full minutes!

Things to think about while writing your Readers Theatre:

CLARITY/TONE CLUES
Are you speaking clearly and Have you given your

Does your tone suit the mood or Do your clues reasonably fit

unique characters?

VOLUME

Are you excited to present your SOLUTION
