Purpose (Tujuan): To inform or entertain the readers

Generic Structure (Struktur Umum dari Teks Ini):

1. Orientation: Berisikan latar belakang informasi tentang siapa, di mana, kapan
peristiwa tersebut terjadi.
2. Event(s): Berisikan peristiwa(-peristiwa) yang terjadi diceritakan secara
kronologis (berurutan)
3. Reorientation: Berisikan rangkuman dari semua kejadian. Pada bagian ini juga
bias berisi pendapat atau kesan penulis tentang kejadian yang diceritakan.

Language Features (Fitur-fitur Kebahasaan dari Teks Ini):

1. Use Simple Past Tense : to be yang dipakai adalah was dan were. Kata Kerja
yang dipakai adalah Verb 2
2. Use First Person(s): I, we, my family, my group, dan sejenisnya.
3. Use chronological connection: menggunakan kata-kata hubung yang
menunjukkan hubungan kronologis, seperti: First, Next, Later, After that,
Later on, Finally, Eventually, dan sejenisnya.

My Holiday in Jogjakarta
Last week, my family went to Yogyakarta. We visited many places there.
First, we visited Prambanan Temple. Prambanan Temple was a beautiful temple. We
took some photos there. After that, we went to Gembira Loka Zo. We saw many kinds
of animals there such as tiger, snakes, butterfly, etc. We looked around in that Zoo,
and also took pictures of those animals. After that, we went to Sahid Raya Hotel to
take a rest.
The next day, we went to Siung Beach. Siung Beach was very beautiful. I played on
the white sand, I swam there and I saw some people practiced rock climbing there. I
played until I felt tired and decided to go back to our car. After that, we went to
Malioboro to buy some souvenirs. Malioboro was about 30 minutes from Sahid Raya
Hotel. In Malioboro, there were many sellers who sold many kinds of souvenirs. Then,
we felt hungry, so we went to a Chinese restaurant. After we finished our dinner, we
decided to go home.

For me, that was a good moment because I could spend my time with my family. We
really enjoyed it.
