Prior Knowledge: The lesson is about the colors.


- The students will build up their knowledge by giving me the colors that they know.
First I will do a quick revision with them about the colors then the students have to
say the colors that they know it. I am expecting that students will say these colors;
pink, green, black, orange, red, white, blue, gray, purple.

- Warm up activity: I will show the students song about the colors and they have to
try to sing with the song. The song is about the colors.

Lesson Objectives: I linked the lesson with Blooms taxonomy so, at the end of the lesson
students will be able:
1- To remember some colors from the lesson. which they are: red, orange, blue, green,
yellow, orange, purple, pink, black, white, grey.
2- To understand the sentences by matching to the correct answer on their learner
book page 116.
3- To apply the colors in the sentences. for example: I have got a purple pencil case, my
hair is black.
4- To analyze the colors by drawing and color it.
5- Students will be evaluated during the whole lesson while they are reading from the
flash cards, answering the questions on their learner book.
6- They will be able to create sentences by using the colors. For example; I have got
black hair and brown eyes.

Key vocabulary: - red, orange, blue, green, yellow, orange, purple, pink, black, white,

grey, balloon, elephant, panda, date, banana.

Attitudes:
1- Remind the students to respect each other.
2- Give your classmate a chance to participate in the class.
3- Raise your hand if you need help.
4- Ask for a permission for anything.
5- The classroom is a place to learn, not to play.
6- Help your friend if she need a help.

Skills:
1- Listening: To recognize the names of colors, understanding the simple sentences.
2- Speaking: To say simple sentences. for example: I have got brown hair.
3- Reading: To read simple sentences, read the names of colors.
4- Writing: To trace the names of colors by coloring them in.

Knowledge/Understanding:
- The students will be able to say the colors on their lesson by reading the colors from
the flash cards.
- They will be able to use the colors in sentences. for example; my hair is black, my
eyes are brown, I have got pink bag.

Evaluation / Assessment:
- I will choose random students to ask them different questions to check their
understanding.

- I will check their answers while doing the activities on the learner book and activity
book and give them feedback and to correct for them any mistakes.
Personal focus:
- In this lesson I am working on my PDP goal 1 which is transition between activities. I
will do my best to make the transition work well and not to be lost with the students in
the classroom. Also, on my PDP goal 3which is improve my body gestures to help the
students to understand more.

Teaching Competencies focus:


- In this lesson I am working on competencies number 3 which is implementing and
managing learning. I will manage the transition between the activities smoothly and
give the time to work and understand what they are doing. The transition that I will do
it for the students will be between the phases and the first transition is (run in your
place) which will help the students to get some power for the next activity and the

second transition is sing the ABC sing together.

Teaching strategies:
- In grade one the whole lesson is direct teaching because they are young and they
need to direct them to do the works.
- I will ask the students random questions about the lesson and these are the
questions:

1- Do you like colors?


2- Which is your favorite color?
3- Why do you love this color?
4- What is your hair color?

and about the video that they will watch it about the colors.

Classroom management strategies:


- First, greeting the students, thank them, let them to sit down and to get prepared
for the lesson by getting their books on the table and their pencil case. Then I will
ask them about the date, day, unite, title and the weather. Moreover, I will ask
them to put their books and their pencil case in their tables so nothing will be on
their table and they will not be busy with their books.
- I will write the learning objectives for them on the white bored, so, they will know
what we will be doing during the period.
- I will use my sentence Eyes to me to get their attention and the students have to
say Eyes to you, and Eyes to the bored to look at the bored.
- If they were talking while I am talking I will use my sign with the hands to stop
talking. Moreover, I will count till number five and thats mean that they have to
stop talking.

Behavioral management strategies:


- I will use non-verbal strategies which they are my face, my hands and eye contact.
For example, if there were a student who is talking I will make an eye contact so
she knows that she has to stop it.

Feedback strategies:
- I will give the students feedback to improve their learning. I will use verbal
feedback when will be the time to ask them verbal questions. For example; good
job Aisha, well done. Also, I will give group feedback, for example; look at this
group, they are quite, they finish their work and they are ready for the next
activity, then I will ask the other groups to clap their hands for the best group. In
addition, there will be written feedback when it is the time to do the activities on
their learner book.

- I will use PowerPoint slides for the students.
- Colors song for them which is related to their lesson.
- Students learner book.

- Speakers.
- Flash cards about the colors in the lesson.
Technology integration:
- I will be using the data show to show the students the PowerPoint slides and the
speakers to listen to the colors song.

- I will ask the students about their favorite color and what colors they love. Then a
