Note: Garment is worked from the bottom up, and front and back are the same. Sleeves are
picked up and knit from armholes and worked in the round down to the cuffs. Pattern is worked
with two strands of yarn held together throughout. Be sure to follow the directions for the size you
are making: S (M, L, XL).

Front and Back

Using circular needles, CO 48 (52, 56, 60) sts with one strand each of color A and color B held
together.

Rows 1-6: *K 1, P 1, rep from * to end of row.

Row 7 (RS): K.

Row 8: P.

Rep rows 7 and 8 until work measures 21/53cm (22/56cm, 23/58cm, 24/61cm).

Bind off loosely. Seam shoulders from outside edges in approx. 6/15cm (6.25/16cm, 6.5/17cm,
7/18cm), on either side, leaving neckline large enough to fit over head easily (it will be a boat
neck shape). Fold at shoulder seams and place markers 9/23cm (9.5/24cm, 10/25.5cm, 10.5/
27cm) down each side to mark underarms. Seam sides from bottom edge to markers, leaving the
9/23cm (9.5/24cm, 10/25.5cm, 10.5/27cm) on each side un-seamed for the armholes.

Using double pointed needles with one strand each of color A and color B held together, and
starting at underarm where side seam ends, pick up and knit 38 (42, 46, 50) sts evenly around
right armhole. Place marker for beginning of round.

Rounds 1-4: K.
Round 5: K 1, SSK, K to last 3 sts, K2tog, K 1. (36, 40, 44, 48 sts)
Rounds 6-8: K.
Round 9: K 1, SSK, K to last 3 sts, K2tog, K 1. (34, 38, 42, 46 sts)
