Integration (and automation)

CHM FCM UX-2000

Consolidated analysis result

Comprehensive urinalysis result
Crosscheck function helps user in analysis samples

Consolidated workflow
Fast TAT with troughput approx. 100 samples/h (chemistry+sediment)
Less time spent in operating different instruments

Compact design
Saves space in labs with limited work area

Appendix 1

Crosscheck Function
Check if 2 parameters
relating each other are
consistent or not

User-definable

Up to 10 conditions

Examples:
BLD x RBC
LEU x WBC
NIT x BACT
PRO x CAST

Slide 14
Appendix 2

Reflex Test
Automatically order a FCM
test according to CHM result
User-definable
Up to 10 conditions
SG, Turbidity and Color can
be used
Application choices:
sediment analysis or bacteria
only analysis
Examples:
GLU > 1.70mg/dL and
PRO > 2.10mg/dL

Slide 15
Integration (and automation)
Standardization
Eliminates subjectivity (e.g. in urine strip color determinations,
urine particle recognition under microscope)
Eliminates error-prone analysis and minimizing causes of
variance (e.g. Aspirated sample volume, centrifugation, etc)

What is SNCS?
Software program developed by Sysmex Corporation

SNCS SV at Sysmex
Questra SV in Japan

CRM system at SAP

SNCS on UX-2000

Online QC
3 lots of QC are chosen
Send QC results to server
Real time

Remote service
Sysmex & customers share same IPU screen
Error log automatically send to server when instrument is shut
down

SNCS Summary
Better quality control
Real time online QC
Integrate into laboratory computer network system
Improve laboratory operation
Increase customer satisfaction
Customer retention
Increase instrument value
Shorten downtime FREE of
Charge

Aids in Diagnosis Patients
UTI,
(Bacteria count, Leucocyte count, Leucocyte Esterase and Nitrite)
Hematuria (vs Hemoglobinuria),
(Erithrocyte count, Erythrocyte morphology, and Blood)
Conductivity of urine,
Early kidney diseases,
(A/C ratio and creatinine parameters)

Using spot urine (instead of 24h urin for albumine and creatinine
parameters), within minutes.

Protein : Creatinine (P/C) ratio
Persistent increased proteinuria is a sign of renal disease
Amount of protein excretion is a reflection of severity of the
disease

P/C results:
Diagnose patients with renal diseases
Monitor patients with renal diseases

Copyright 2011 PT Sysmex Indonesia Slide 26 PT Sysmex Indonesia

Microalbumin : Creatinine ratio
(A/C ratio)
Albumin
Relatively small, often among the first proteins to enter the
urine after glomeruli are damaged

Microalbumin: low volume of albumin appear urine

Even minor kidney dysfunction is detectable with proper

diagnosis of microalbuminuria

Effective indicator for early detection of diabetic

nephropathy

Copyright 2011 PT Sysmex Indonesia Slide 27 PT Sysmex Indonesia

Conductivity
Conduction is due to ions in the urine
Conductivity is influenced by the ion density
e.g. Sodium

High correlation coefficient between urine conductivity and

osmolality
Can be an indicator of renal failure
Useful marker for diuresis and antidiuresis state of the patients

Analysis results are indicated by numerical data and urine

concentration flags (rank values)
