at bay. Warm yellow solid and striped garter-stitch Gauge
sections provide a subtle color shift to the creamy lace- 20 sts and 32 rows = 4" (10 cm) in Garter Stripe
mesh border. Pattern,blocked.

Finished Size
56" (142 cm) wide and 24" (61 cm) long.

Yarn Notes
DK weight (#3 Light). Work decreases at the edge of the shawl loosely to help
keep a stretchy top edge.

It may be helpful to mark the right side of the work with
Leicester wool; 300 yd [274 m]/3 oz [100 g]): Parchment (MC),
a safety pin or removable marker.
2 skeins; Brocade (CC), 1 skein.
When working the garter stripe section, do not break
Needles yarn at color changes. Carry unused color up side of
Size U.S. 7 (4.5 mm): 36" (90 cm) circular (cir). work and bring new color up under color just used.

Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correctgauge.
