My name is Kyle Quina, and I am a graduate student at the University of
Florida. As part of my master's in education coursework, I am completing a 10 week teaching internship at a local school. I am glad for the opportunity to improve my teaching skills at Eastside High, especially with the students in 5th period honors and general physics. The class is a small one, so I have the privilege to interact frequently with each student. This interaction is important for me because I am learning how to ensure that my lesson is conveyed clearly to students.
As part of my internship, I am required to record some of my lessons with a
video camera and microphone. The video allows me to reflect on my performance in ways that my memory of a lesson will not allow. Attached to this letter is a video consent form, which asks you to sign whether or not your child can be in the video. If you prefer not to have your child in the video, the classroom can be arranged to avoid recording him or her. Please also read and sign the consent form.
