1) Phone Book / Notepad

Steps:
Select Menu to enter the phone book

To enter the name, select To

2) Camera
2.1) Basic steps:
Select Menu to capture pictures.
Press to adjust the brightness.
Then, press OK or the camera shortcut button to capture and save the picture.

2.2) Self timer:

Select Menu Action , then press + / - to select the count-down time within 3 to 20
seconds, then press OK / to start the count-down.

2.3) Viewing pictures:

Select Menu to view the pictures

3) Painting
3.1) Steps:
Select Menu , then press to choose palette (8 colors and styles can be chosen).

Press Action and there are 8 actions as followed:

Frame: Press Brightness: keep

Select Menu to view the pictures.
Press Action and there are 6 options to choose as followed:

Photo Auto Play Function

Copy one more photo, copy photo to Photo Album
Design or adjust photo (refer to Section 4.1)
Send out photo (To be used in Japan only)
Make the photo as a frame
Delete photo

 4.1) To design or modify photo
Steps:
Select the photo from , then press Action to choose one of the
following options:
Insert frame Brightness
color pen Contrast
Insert stamp Sepia effect
Save Black & white effect

4.2) How to make more effect?

Press Action and select the options again.
4.3) How to cancel the effect?
Press the return key to cancel the effect before you save it.
4.4) Once finish the modification, press OK to save it.
4.5) How to delete the photo?
Select Menu to choose the photo to you want to delete, then press Action
, and the following screen will be shown:

7) E-mail Address / Address Book
Select Menu @then press to enter email address or
address and the following screen will be shown for entering the information:

Name Store

Birth date

Email Address

7.1) To modify:
Press to enter the namethe press OK to save. Press on right-hand corner to
choose the fonts and pictures.
Press , then press once on lower right-hand corner to enter the birth date.
Once finish, press OK to save.
Press to enter email Address or address, and then press OK to save.
Once all the information is entered, press on upper right-hand corner to store .
Press @ to view / search the address information.

8) Settings:

To enter Settings mode, select Menu to choose the following 10 options:

The 5 options from the first page are as followed:

1) Message setting (To be used in Japan only)

2) Settings of the touch screen
3) Resolution
4) Brightness of the screen and power saving
5) Volume (ON / OFF)

The next 5 options are as followed:

6) Copy pictures from CAMESSE PETIT to SMARTMEDIA

10) Set memory card or the camera as default to store the
pictures (refer to Section 8.3)

8.1.) How to add a new frame to the camera?

Select Menu , then press and the following screen will be shown:

Steps:
Add a frame
1) Select to add a frame
2) Choose the background
color
3) Choose the fame style

8.2) How to delete the frame?

Select Menu , then press and follow the steps as below:

2) press to select the frame you want to delete
3) Once select, press Action to delete the frame

 8.3) How to set memory card as default to store the pictures?

1) Put SMARTMEDIA memory card into the memory card slot from the top, then power on and
select Menu .
2) As the diagram below, choose SMARTMEDIA, then press OK Ok to confirm.
Once finish, the pictures are set to be stored in the memory card by default.

8.4) How to format the memory card?

*Remarks: please format the memory card when first time to use.

1. Select Menu SmartMedia

2. To confirm as followed diagram, wait for 5 to 10 seconds and the second diagram will be
shown, then press OK to finish the format.
