About CATS:
CATS is a non-profit organization which aims at providing a platform for like-minded people to
travel and participate in cross cultural student camps & events all across the world (starting from
Asian Countries first) with minimal or no cost to the members except the air fare and a small
event fee.
CULTURE AND
ADVENTURE TRAVEL About the Camps (An Overview) :
SOCIETY The duration of every camp would range between 7 to 10 nights. The frequency of the camps will be
between three to four times an year. Initially, the camps would start from Asian Countries. The
number of participants in each camp would vary.

About the Society Membership:

The society would work via membership. For now CATS will accept 300 members. All 300
members will be given a chance to participate in the camp on a regular rotation basis. Membership
forms will be available through our website, our country representatives and by emailing us.
Membership Fee:
The membership fee will be 30 US $ to be paid as an annual (yearly) fee. Members can pay the fee
directly to the Country reps in their own currency or after December 2016, they can deposit directly
in the Society Account and send the deposit slip.
Membership Procedure:
A membership form would soon be available on the website portal (under process), as of
now you can request forms by sending us an email or obtain a form by your local country
Rep.
After the membership approval of the applicant from the Chairman, the membership fee as
mentioned above, will have to be submitted to the appointed finance executive person from
the respective country.
Age limit for membership is 18 to 30 years.
No more than 300 members would be selected.
Please note that the Society and its executive body led by the Chairman reserve the right to
refuse membership to any one they feel that does not meet the group criteria or standard of
excellence. Membership fee will only be accepted from approved members.
Please note that all membership obtained now will be valid till 31st December 2017.

Membership Rules of CATS
1. Only individuals aged minimum 18 and maximum 30 can apply and be eligible for
membership for CATS.
2. CATS will not have more than 300 members at any given time. Only upon members
non-renewing membership or exceeding the age limit of 30, will more members be
allowed to join
3. Membership will be paid for one year and will be renewal after the year expires by
paying the annual membership fee.
4. Membership will be 30 US $ per year (paid in local currency in case of Finance Officer
being available in your country / US $ in case of foreign remittance).
5. Upon payment of membership each member will be invited to join the CATS closed
facebook group, will receive a CATS membership card and will have access to CATS
events across the world by way of application and rotation.
6. All 300 members who opt for events and qualify will get a chance to participate in CATS
trips and camps. All members will be accommodated on rotation.
7. All members must strictly abide by the code of conduct and disciplinary rules as set by
the CATS executive committee. Failure to do so shall lead to immediate expulsion.
8. Each event / camp will have its own guidelines and rules laid out which have to be
strictly followed by all members.
9. Each member has to respect the rights of privacy of other members and of CATS the
society, in general.
10. The Executive committee shall be headed by an Executive Director and committee
members. The Head of CATS will be the Chairman of the Society. All final decisions in
management and dispute arbitration will be made by the Chairman which will be
binding and final.
11. The Executive Director will be nominated by a voting process and will be changed every
year. The Executive Director each year will be from a different nationality. Final veto
power will be held by the Chairman to accept or not accept Executive Director
Nomination. All committee members and Executive Director can be relieved of their
positions and changed at the complete discretion of the Chairman.
12. All members are eligible to apply for committee member and Executive Director
Positions.
13. Membership fee once paid will not be refundable under any circumstances.
14. No CATS member will use the name of the society to further enhance personal
interests at the detriment of the Society or its members or to bring disrepute to the
repute of the society. Such action will result in immediate termination of membership
and if needed legal action.
