Description of how to implement in the class:
The teacher will introduce the topic of Lewis and Clark to the class. The students will then
familiarize themselves with who Lewis and Clark are by writing down two facts they learned from
the video. Followed by the video the students will share ad review the facts that they learned from
the video creating one anchor chart filled with important ideas and facts show.

From the anchor chart, the students will pick one of the other famous people from the standard
researching them on their own, or with a team creating a podcast about their findings. This will be
something that the will share will the class after it is complete allowing the other students to learn
about other famous people.
