PROFILE
As a musician, a performer and social media expert, I feel I would be an ideal candidate for the
position of Radio Presenter at your radio station. I have professional experience in content
creation for websites, blogs and all social media platforms and I have just completed my degree
in New Media and English. I also have an understanding of media law and have basic skills in
sound production and recording. I have a good sense of humour and friendly personality which I
feel would engage listeners.

CAREER HISTORY

Tour Guide and Actor at Leahys Open Farm November 2014 - Present
Tour Guide for school tours and birthday parties. Dedicated to creating a fun atmosphere
for children while ensuring they stay safe and well behaved.
Acting as a Bean an T in a 300 year old cottage. Singing songs and educating the
visitors on the history of the Open Farm in a relaxed and entertaining manner.

Marketing Intern at Mercier Press Ltd. Jan 2015-July 2015


Assisted the marketing manager in all tasks. Maintained and updated company website
and social media sites. Gained basic knowledge in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop
and Google Analytics.
Promoted the products through newsletters, press releases and communication with
newspaper and magazine editors.
Managed companys main phone-line and assisted in ad hoc receptionist duties.

Achievements:
At Leahys Open Farm, I worked closely with the business owners in developing the Old Cottage
as a more interactive attraction on the farm. Together we developed the idea for the Bean an T
who would act as host, entertainer and educator in the Old Cottage. I was the first employee to
take on the role and I still hold this role on the Open Farm.

At Mercier Press, the Marketing Manager whom I was initially assisting left the job during my
fourth month with the company. While the company were interviewing candidates for the vacant
role, I took on most of the urgent marketing responsibilities and then assisted in the training of the
new Marketing Manager.

INTERESTS
I am the current secretary of my local amateur dramatic society, Brideview Drama. I am involved
in all aspects of drama production: backstage, technicals, direction, writing and acting and have
won awards on the All-Ireland Amateur Drama Festival Circuit for soundscapes which I have
created for productions.

I am also a poet, short-story and songwriter and I love to sing, play guitar and record my own
tracks in my home studio. I was a member of Music Soc during my time at University of Limerick.
