Since the beginning of the 20th century, the world has been dominated by two ideologies

and systems: Capitalism and Socialism.

Socialism collapsed and faded away in history towards the end of the 20th century.
Capitalism began its free fall; and the world will soon witness the final collapse of
Capitalism.
The people around the globe did not shed any tears for the death of Socialism.

The people today will have only to celebrate and cheer the end of tyranny named
“Capitalism …Globalization … Democracy … Liberalism …” or any other nick name
given to the typhoon of the 20th century.

Under the system of Capitalism, the world at large had suffered the most horrendous
atrocities. The toll on humanity range from hunger in the midst of Africa to the streets of
Chicago, from wars in Latin America to Afghanistan, from unemployment in the far
cities of Pakistan to the near cities in Detroit, Los Angles and New York.

With great distress, anxiety, and regret we are watching together a quick account of the
sore fruits of Capitalism.

The most recent financial crisis had far reaching effects on the daily life of almost every
living being in this world. Economies were destabilized. Countries like Pakistan,
Bangladesh, Dubai, Turkey, Argentina, and many others are on the verge of bankruptcy.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) admits that all corners of the globe are being
affected. Besides trillions in lost business, a sinking world economy means fewer trade
opportunities and higher unemployment. It raises the odds more people will fall into
poverty, go hungry or lose their homes.

The world has already lost more than (xxxx) trillions of dollars; and the toll is growing.
The US alone has lost more than (xxxx) jobs; and the unemployment reached a record
high of (xxxxx) %
The world has lost more than (xxxx) jobs; and the unemployment reached a record high
of (xxxxx) %
The number of homes moving into foreclosure continues to grow. More than (xxxx)
homes are under foreclosure status in the US

The pains inflected by the collapse of the Capitalist Empire are no less than the pains
incurred while Capitalism was enjoying its triumph and dominance over the world.

During the 1960’s and 1970’s the IMF and the World Bank through high interest loans
managed to enslave whole nations. The markets, raw material and cheap labour of
countries like Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey, Nigeria, Indonesia and
many others have gone under complete control of IMF and the capitalist powers behind
it. The free market slogans raised by the IMF and the World Bank brought down to the
knees the growing economies of Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, which were known
as the Asian Tigers.

Free market, globalization, world capitalism, and multinational corporations created a

global super highway. Profit and money flows in one direction towards the USA and
Western Europe. Poverty and hardships flow in the other direction with name brands such
as Coca Cola, McDonalds, Nike, Mercedes and weapons of all brands.

(POVERTY and HUNGER)

The advocates of Capitalism from Adam Smith onward have always maintained that
increasing the production of goods is the key to a prosperous life under Capitalism.
Since the early 1950’s until today, the Gross National product in the USA alone increased
from (XXXX) billions to (YYYY) trillions, and multiplied more than (ZZZZ) times.
In the meantime, the number and percentage of people falling under poverty continued to
grow. The abundance of money and products did not resolve or reduce the poverty in the
US, or in the world at large.

Today, in the US alone, more than (XXXX) people live below poverty line.
More than (YYYY) of these people go hungry on a daily basis.
The number of poor people in the whole world has been steadily increasing despite the
global wealth created under globalization and free market.
This year alone, more than (XXXX) people in the world are declared poor and will live
under $1 a day.

Poverty is not caused by lack or shortage of food.

The US and other Capitalist countries dump great amount of food in order to sustain
prices. The amount of food dumped by the US every wear is more than (XXXX) billion
pounds.
Poverty in many places in the world like India, Africa, and Indonesia is equivalent to
death!! People either die of hunger or die facing the consequences of protesting against
hunger.

The number of people who vanished in Africa, Asia and Latin America while demanding
their rights for food, health, and education which were confiscated by IMF exceed (300)
millions during the triumph of Capitalism in the 20th century.

(PEACE AND WAR)

Wars are facts of history. There is no doubt about that. But under Capitalism, wars have
taken unprecedented shape and scale.
Under Capitalism, wars are launched for the sole reason of wealth acquisition:
• Access to raw material
• Access to energy resources.
• Opening new market
• Creating investment opportunities
• Expanding colonial outreach.
Examples are abundant:
• The current war in Iraq - for oil
• The war in Kuwait in 1991- for Oil
• The war in Afghanistan – 1979 until now – for oil pipelines and opium
• The wars in Sudan – for oil
• The wars in Africa – for oil, diamond and gold
• The British and French colonialism – for oil, markets, spices, water pathways

Under the dominance of Capitalism, two great world wars were fought with more than
100 million people dead and injured.

Under the triumph of Capitalism, nuclear weapons were used against Japan in 1945 and
against Iraq in 1991 and 2003 and against the Palestinians by Israel in 2008.

Under the triumph of Capitalism, the cold war terrorized the whole world for more than
40 years with the threat of devastating nuclear war.

Under the triumph of Capitalism, two organizations (The League of Nations and the
United Nations) were created to monitor the peace and security in the world. Both
organizations with veto super powers have failed to resolve any conflict in the world.
They have failed to prevent wars and have failed to make peace and create security.
Since both organizations were created more than (XXXX) wars were fought; and more
than (XXXX) people were killed.

Peace and security as much as wars and terrorism are the products of the contemporary
world order. The last 100 years were exclusively the order of capitalism. Capitalism has
not only failed to establish peace and security; it was and still is responsible for the wars
and terrorism in the world.

Only under the triumph of Capitalism, the ethics, morals and values of warfare have gone
so low. The horrible prisons of Guantanamo, AbuGhareeb, Pajram, and the CIA secrete
jails are more than enough of a witness!

(THE RISE OF ISLAM)

The fall of Capitalism should not lead to the creation of a vacuum and chaos in the world.
The chaos can have a devastating effect on the human life in the world at large. The
world is in dire need today to build and sustain a system that can remedy the disasters
created by Capitalism and provide the peoples of the world the long awaited quest for
security, abundance, bounty and happiness.

No system other than Islam is capable of fulfilling the aspirations of the billions of people
who have suffered a great deal under both Capitalism and Socialism.

Bernard Shaw, the Nobel Prize winner, has once stated: “I believe that if a man like
Muhammad (PBUH) were to assume the rulership of the modern world he would
succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring it the much needed peace and
happiness”.

Islam as a way of belief and a life style was adopted by all nations that have come in
direct contact with Islam, its laws, its justice and civilization, without the use of any
force.
De Lacy O'Leary, a well known historian writes in 1923: “History makes it clear
however, that the legend of fanatical Muslims sweeping through the world and forcing
Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered races is one of the most fantastically
absurd myths that historians have ever repeated”.

Islam promotes core values which are central to human integrity, progress and happiness.
Such values include the prohibition of alcoholism, adultery, usury, stocks, gambling,
discrimination, back biting, slanders, false accusation, oppression, and much more. Islam
promotes the values of brotherhood, justice, standing up for the right of the individual
and the rights of the society, family ties and relations, parenthood, child protection, and
much more.
Canon Taylor, a famous western writer states in a speech in 1887: “Islam gives hope to
the slave, brotherhood to mankind, and recognition of the fundamental facts of human
nature”.
The Quran summarizes these principles in the verse which states: “O mankind! We
created you from a single pair of a male and a female, and made you into nations and
tribes, that you may know each other (not that you may despise each other). Verily, the
most honored of you in the sight of Allah is he who is the most righteous of you”.

These principles were witnessed in practice under the rules of the Khilafah.
R. L. Mellema, a non-Muslim Historian, testifies to this fact by saying: “The doctrine of
brotherhood of Islam extends to all human beings, no matter what color, race or creed.
Islam is the only religion which has been able to realize this doctrine in practice. Muslims
wherever on the world they are, will recognize each other as brothers”.

Mr. Gibb, a British Historian, further testifies that: “Islam possesses a magnificent
tradition of inter-racial understanding and cooperation. No other society has such a record
of success uniting in an equality of status, of opportunity, and of endeavors so many and
so various races of mankind. Islam has still the power to reconcile apparently
irreconcilable elements of race and tradition”.

An outstanding account of the ability of Islam to eliminate racial discrimination and build
a society of justice and equity is echoed in a statement titled “Civilization on Trial” by
Alan Toynbee in 1948, in which he said: “The extinction of race consciousness as
between Muslims is one of the outstanding achievements of Islam. In the contemporary
world there is a crying need for the propagation of this Islamic virtue”.

Wealth distribution under the rules of Islam has many facets. Well defined charity,
known as Zakah, is not only a requirement; it is considered a form of worship.

The public ownership of key resources such as oil, coal, gas, gold, minerals, water
resources, vast real estate land and many others are a perfect guarantee that each and
every one under the Islamic society will have a fair share to the main resources of wealth.
Less than 50 years after the rise of the first Islamic State, poverty was totally eliminated
within the boundaries of the state.

In a statement by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), he states: “Allah does not approve of any
community in which any person goes to bed hungry”.
The Justice of Islam extends to all subjects within the Islamic Khilafah state, irrespective
of their identity or religion. This was witnessed even in the aftermath of the brutal
Crusade wars.
James Addison, a renowned Historian, testifies that: “Muslim rulers seldom made their
Christian subjects suffer for the Crusades. When the Muslims resumed full control of
Palestine, the Christians were given a good status and experienced enlightened justice.
Under the Crusaders, Christians were forbidden access to the shrines. Not until the
Muslim victories could they enjoy their rights as Christians”.

Islam provides a unique role for of leadership, where the leader is the guard of the people
and their wealth, contrary to leaders under democratic systems where they become
beneficiaries of the system and rob the wealth of the people.

Bosworth Smith writes in 1874: “Muhammad ruled without a standing army; without a
bodyguard; without a palace; without fixed revenue. He ruled by the right divine. He had
all the power without its instruments and without its supports”.

Islam has always been a vehicle for progress and advancement.

Jared Diamond makes the following statement: “Medieval Islam was technologically
advanced and open to innovation. It achieved far higher literacy rates than in
contemporary Europe. It invented windmills, trigonometry and made major advances in
metallurgy, mechanical and chemical engineering and irrigation methods. The flow of
technology was from Islam to Europe”.
Carla Fiorina, HP former CEO, states in a lecture on civilization that: “Islam is made up
of people of many nationalities, and its military protection allowed a degree of peace and
prosperity that had never been known. It is driven more than anything, by invention.
Islam thrived on ideas. Others were afraid of them. It provided enlightened leadership —
that nurtured culture, sustainability, diversity and courage”.

The return of Islam to the world arena is neither a threat to mankind nor a danger to its
civilization. On the contrary, it is in the best interest of all peoples of all origins and of all
races and all of walks of life. It is the only remaining hope to restore the integrity of
mankind to the form and shape meant to be when Allah created Adam and ordered the
angles to bow down in humbleness to recognize the supreme values of this creature – the
human.

The return of Islam and the rise of the Islamic State is imminent as quoted by Patirck
Buchanan in 2006 “Islam is rising to shake the 21st century as it did so many previous
centuries. It is an idea whose time has come and no army is as powerful as an idea whose
time has come”.

Before too long, the sun of Islam will once again shine upon the world. A new
civilization will be born. It is a civilization, where faith and spirit will be coupled with
life and progress. It is a civilization, where prosperity will replace poverty; hope will
eradicate despair; justice will prevail over oppression; tyranny will fade away in the
darkness of history; and joy and happiness will be for all peoples across the globe: from
the remote deserts of Africa to the mountains of India and Pakistan; from the plains of
Latin America to the cities of Europe; from the stretched horizons of the US and Canada
to the terrains of Asia. And once again the whole universe will rejoice the return of the
best witnesses of justice to the world.
