It is important to provide our students with the best enrichment experience possible. Below is a
list of expectations for those interested in heading a club.

Teacher Responsibility:
Develop activities that are interesting and appropriate
The club should provide the opportunity for creativity
Create a goal for the club (Ex. Students will perform for...)
Fill out and turn in a brief curriculum for the club
Required to meet every other week beginning October. (dates to come)
Develop a set of expectations for your specific club
Start and end on time

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS FOR CLUBS/AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT

Alma Brewer Strawn is proud to offer a large variety of after school enrichment activities
throughout our campus. In order to provide all students with equal opportunity to
participate, students may only participate in three activities for the school year. A student
who wishes to participate in represent the school through club/enrichment activities is a
representative of our campus and serves as a role model to other students by following
school expectations at all times including off campus competitions or performances.

Students expectations:
safe, responsible, respectful, cooperative and always do your best,
maintain academics and complete all assignments on time,
maintain appropriate behavior at all times.

The following guidelines are in place for all campus-sponsored activities:

Students assigned an office referral will be placed on probation. Further office
referrals may result in dismissal from club
Students who have ten (10) or more cumulative absences or twelve (12) or more
cumulative tardies may not be allowed to participate in clubs, competitions or
performances for the remainder of the school year.
Students attending after school activities and performances must be reported as
present for that school day in order to participate.

I have read all of the above and promise to follow the expectations. My participation in
this club will be positive and I will represent the Alma Brewer Strawn Elementary
community by being safe, responsible, respectful, cooperative and will always do my
best.
