Vocabulary Activity, they share with their classmates the 2 vocabulary


words chosen from the chapter. Make 3 groups of 4 and ask them to tell
the others in the group. Explain the importance of keeping track of new
words by writing them down. Encourage them to write down the new
words
A) Where is the Word in the text?
B) Explain the meaning
C) As a group write a sentence using it.

10 In the worksheet from the day before ask them to identify the supporting details
10 for the main idea. Check their answers as a class
In groups of 4 ask them to find the main idea and at least 2 supporting details of
the following passages.

Assignments:
2 Chapter 3 of their book. Special length assignment
They wil be assigned to read 1 page each (The teacher will read page 1, and
will take part in the discussion next day), 2 students will read the same page so
there will be 2 groups who have read a page of the chapter. The next day they
will be divided in two groups (after the teacher tells about page 1) and they will
complete the rest of the story divided in 2 groups, taking turns according to the
page they read. The activity end when they complete the story in chapter 3.
