thinking and team work. it gives real life experience to the
students which enhances students confidence, autonomy and
responsibility.
Specify your client/target audience.
our target audience is the society, news hunters, school
community , journal audience

Task 2-Research Plan (Mind map)

State a research plan to develop a solution to the problem.

our research plan to develop a solution to the problem is as

Step 1: we will create a survey on news consumption by which

we will be able to know the target audiences opinion.

Step 2:hunt for the latest topics as per our interest area using
internet or using worldwide web.

Step 3: we will visit similar websites websites to gain and

develop new ideas for creating our final product.

step 4:after visiting all the similar websites we will start

summarizing the analysis of the data collected in the form of
an analysis report.

Mind map
What we need to learn
students working in groups are responsible for selecting news
for broadcasting so they will hunt for the latest news.students
will do editing and produce the final broadcast in the form of
video or newspaper.students are free to choose the content of
news providing impressive, truthful or worthwhile reading
material
Primary Research Secondary Research

survey inquiry questions

search about the topic to get visiting similar websites
prior knowledge on world magazines,books,newspapers,
wide web videos

Information Available on Internet

Task 3 Existing Solutions

List the existing products you are aware of and analyze them
the product which i am making for the design class is in the
form of a video.

these are some examples of similar kind of videos which i am

planning to make like:-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rx9l6k_di4Q
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBJQkTYvF-c&t=9s
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRdrErQrTWo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HlX0FpzlFa0

what i like about the videos:

these videos are very interesting and informative.they help people
understand the content in an undemanding way.they are good quality and it
seems like they are telling the truth about all the news shared.

what i dislike about the video:

there is nothing much about the videos for disliking.one suggestion i can give
about the videos is to show more video footage about the particular topic.

Two best products that I choose

the best videos are

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rx9l6k_di4Q

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HlX0FpzlFa0

I like these videos because they are not actual videos from the
normal news channels.they are just planned like an activity to
spread awareness.this is what we are supposed to do,so we can
get inspired by these videos and make our own.

What is the importance of news?

News is more than just facts and information; it is information that affects us. News
affects how we live our lives, how we perform our jobs, how we function as students, and
how we make decisions. We decide whether or not to carry an umbrella or cancel a picnic
based on weather reports. We look to the media for sports scores, stock market reports
and details about entertainment events. Information we have learned from news
broadcasts may affect our choice of a college or a major field of study. More importantly,
we learn about candidates for public office, election results and the winner's effectiveness
through media reports. Announcements about new industry and new jobs or, conversely,
about plant closings and layoffs come to us through the media.

What is news broadcasting?

News broadcasting is the medium of broadcasting of various news events and

other information via television, radio or internet in the field of broadcast
journalism. The content is usually either produced locally in a radio studio or
television studio newsroom, or by a broadcast network.

What does a broadcast journalist do?

Broadcast journalists research, investigate and present news and current

affairs content for television, radio and the internet. Their aim is to present
information in a balanced, accurate and interesting way through news
bulletins, documentaries and other factual programmes.

Why is news important?

Having access to current events and up-to-date information has value in the
modern world because of the constantly changing nature of the world or our
nation. Without regular access to news, most people would be unaware of the
various events taking place, both locally and around the world, that have an
impact on their lives.
Task 4 Design Brief
i am going to design and make a news video on terrorist attacks.the
video is going to contain about the most well known attacks from
around the world.Example:9/11, pathankot attack and the attack in
France,Paris and pathankot.
