Cisco Device Manager 1.1

Product Overview

Cisco Systems announces an update to the CiscoView Device Manager Version 1.1 for the Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Switch with a new
release of the Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series WebVPN Services Module. The CiscoView device managers are five device-management applications
embedded in these products to offer extensive GUI-based feature management within a single chassis.

The CiscoView Device Manager 1.1 includes:

CiscoView Device Manager 1.1 for the Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Switch

CiscoView Device Manager 1.1 for the Cisco Content Switching Module

CiscoView Device Manager 1.1 for the Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series SSL Services Module

CiscoView Device Manager 1.1 for the Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series WebVPN Services Module

CiscoView Device Manager 1.1 for the Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series IPSec VPN Services Module

Support for new features introduced in the Cisco CSM 4.1 and partial server farm failover, header sticky
group features of Cisco CSM 4.2 releases
CiscoView Device This helps users to easily configure SSL services on their Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series SSL Services Module.
Manager for the Catalyst The features in Version 1.1 include:

Upgraded certificate import, export, and Trustpoint wizards

Network settings Domain Name System (DNS), VLANs, VRF instances, etc.

Showing WebVPN statistics and user details per context
CiscoView Device This device manager helps users to easily configure IPSec VPN services on their Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series
Manager for Catalyst IPSec VPN Services Module. The features offered with this application include:
6500 Series IPSec VPN
Configuring
Services Module
Basic site-to-site VPNs
Dynamic crypto maps
Remote access servers
Showing VPN status and statistics

CiscoView Device Manager 1.1 applications are ordered as free options when configuring a Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Switch order. Table 2

CiscoView Device Manager 1.1 applications can be ordered as configurable options with Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Switch orders beginning
November 2005.

Existing customers can download CiscoView Device Manager 1.1 applications from Cisco.com Software Center. CiscoView Device Manager
applications are offered to customers at no charge.
