This short film is based on real events. It is about two loving parents and their struggle to do not
let the innocence of their daughter to be taken away by the everyday problems of life, to make
her feel that life is beautiful and worth living. It is a short film about the conquering of suffering,
about losing people, but keeping them in out hearts.

Y sin embargo es Hermosa:
This short film is based on real events. It tells the story about a beautiful girl that wants to see
her dad on Christmas. It is about two loving parents and their struggle to do not let the
innocence of their daughter to be taken away by the everyday problems of life, to make her feel
that life is beautiful and worth living.
It is a short film about the conquering of suffering, about losing people, but keeping them in our
hearts.

By telling this story, I want to show the beautiful details and things that may grandparents
always had with their sons that to make their life a lot easier and happy.
The life of the Rosass family is a portrait of the Latin society that has economic issues but that
struggles to work them out and get ahead in a reality that is adverse and hostile.

Their struggle represents a lot of families that, putting their faith in God, confront with courage
and love the difficulties, making us discover that, even thou the life is hard, that you suffer in it,
that you fight in it and die, nevertheless, is beautiful.

In the end, what this short film is trying to say is that all that matters is the love that we had for
each other, the intensity that we put in everything we do and the importance of being able to see
the miracle that life is, the enormous present that the family is and the marvelous yet
challenging test that is to live our lives always smiling, no matter what.

Por Amor: While telling what she would do in the name of love, a woman realizes that, because
of her formation, she would be willing to let her dreams go by and even justify and lie about a
man who beats her, but then again, she comes to understand, by listening to her own words,
that that is not love.
