CAPITAL CRAFT BEVERAGE TRAIL TO HOST DRINK

SCHENECTADY AT SCHENECTADY ARMORY ON APRIL 15
Capital Region craft beverage producers will come together to highlight the areas best in
craft beer, wine, cider and spirits
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (April 13, 2017) The Capital Craft Beverage Trail Association (the CCBT) will host
Drink Schenectady, the first of the Drink Capital Region events to take place outside of the City of Albany,
on Saturday, April 15 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Schenectady Armory (125 Washington Avenue,
Schenectady).

Previously, the CCBT has hosted two successful installments of Drink Albany at Quackenbush Square in
Albany in October 2015 and October 2016.

Were proud to bring the electricity of craft beverages made in the Capital Region to none other than the
Electric City itself, Schenectady, for Drink Schenectady, said John Curtin, president of the Capital Craft
Beverage Trail Association. It is our hope and mission that this will encourage Schenectady bars,
restaurants, and retailers to consider local.

Drink Schenectady will run from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a special VIP happy hour running from 2 p.m. to 3
p.m. in the lounge bar inside the Armory. The event will feature live music from Goldee Dust, Kimono
Dragons, and Victory Soul Orchestra on the WEQX Stage. Food vendors include Mazzone Hospitality and
Slidin Dirty. Games are available to play as patrons see fit.

A general admission ticket includes a Capital Craft Beverage Trail signature glass, along with the
opportunity to drink from all of Drink Schenectadys participating craft beverage producers. VIP tickets
treat guests to specialty beverages from each producer for the first hour during general session. A set
number of beverages are included with each ticket. Advance tickets are available at
capitalcraftbeveragetrail.org starting at $40 for general admission, $60 for VIP, before increasing on the
day-of the event.
