An economical alternative to the Specification

standard range of Flexcon expansion
vessels.
Special features
Ultra safe construction with two
vessel sections retained by a
separate clamp ring. The flexible
rubber diaphragm is not stretched
but will roll along its sides, making it
extremely durable.
Construction: Deep drawn steel
to BS. 4814:1990
Diaphragm: Flexible rubber with
rolling action.
Clamp ring: Separate, zinc plated.
Max. working pressure:
3 bar (2 to 35L). 6 bar (50 to 80L)
Max. vessel temp: 70OC.
Gas charge: Pre-set, no adjustment
required.
Maintenance: No routine
maintenance or checking required.

 Location of equipment and accessories

1. Cubex expansion vessel - locate near the inlet side of the circulating pump.
2. Boiler.
3. Circulating pump - locate in the boiler flow.
4. Prescor safety valve - locate on top of or above boiler if possible.
5. Flexcon pressure gauge - locate in site of the filling point.
6. Double check valve - locate at any convenient point but not at the bottom of the system.
7. Flamco funnel - locate on the outlet of the safety valve.
8. Flamcovent de-aerator - locate in the boiler flow, before the pump.
9. Stop valve - locate to mains supply.
10. Flexible hose - locate between the stop valve and the double check valve.
11. Flexvent automatic air vent - locate where air is naturally collected in the system.
