I will show the students flashcards including the irregular verbs in the slide show and I
will discuss with the students about the verbs if they know them or not and will explain
it for them how are they irregular verbs.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

After explaining the irregular verbs, I will ask the students to open their
practice book page 44 and I will let each group to do it by themselves and
then we will check the answers together on the board.

Independent Experience(small group activity 2)

After solving the questions in the practice book, I will give each groups cards
with the irregular verbs and the past tense of each verb, then I will ask the
students to match each verb with the correct past tense of it.

Closing

To end up the lesson, I will ask the students what are the irregular verbs and whats the
past tense of each verb, so I can know If the students understand the lesson or not.

Assessment
Time:

I assist the students by checking on each group and seeing how theyre doing, and if they hav
any questions to keep them on the track and checking their understanding of the whole lesson

My lesson was basically about irregular verbs (come, do, go, run and see), I taught
the students that the irregular verbs can change in the sentence and each verb has
a past tense. The thing that went well is that the students was interacting with me
and they were ready for the lesson and for the activities. But the things that
wouldnt been better is not timing the activities and give the students their own
time to solve the questions in the group.

Behaviour management

About the behavior management in the class, I controlled the class very well
because before I start the lesson, I said the class rules and mentioned class dojo,
which is a website where the teacher can give and take points off from any student
refereeing to his attitude in the class.

Groupings/differentiation

The grouping was based on the students abilities, but the activities wasnt
differentiated, all of the activities were the same for each group.

Next Steps in learning and teaching

I will focus on differentiation for the different abilities in the class and not timing
the activities.
