1) What is a product ? Describe the types of products


2) Explain mistake proofing of designs with examples
3) How reliability and FOS affect design procedure ?
4) Briefly explain the different approaches to break even analysis.

10) ABC corporation has given the following information on its capacity, sales and cost:
Current capacity=1,00,000 units ,Sales price= Rs 40per unit , Contribution Margin P/V
ratio=25% , Present unutilised capacity = 10,000units , Margin of safety = 5% of its BEP.
a) Find
i) BEP in sales volume
ii) Variables costs per unit and Fixed Cost
iii) Margin of safety in units
b) If the fixed costs are decreased by Rs 1,80,000 to what extend can the price be reduced to
maintain the total profit at current level
