INTRODUCTION:

B. MATERIALS:
1. Cement:
a) Brand OPC, 53 Grade

2. Aggregates:
a) Fine aggregate Crusher Dust

b) Coarse Angular crusher broken coarse aggregate of

aggregate size 40mm, 20mm, 10mm and down size

The characteristics of materials are given in Table 1 to 3.

C. MIX PROPORTION DETAILS FOR CEMENT TREATED BASE LAYER:

The details of the mix design carried are as follows:

1 of 7
Recommended proportion (by weight) of coarse aggregate 40 mm down size = %

Recommended proportion (by weight) of coarse aggregate 20 mm down size = %

Recommended proportion (by weight) of coarse aggregate 10 mm down size = %

Recommended proportion (by weight) of fine aggregate i.e. Crusher Dust = %

Recommended proportion (by weight) of Cement = %

Optimum moisture content = %

D. CONCLUSIONS:

The mix design has been carried out using the constituent materials supplied by the customer.

The mix proportions suggested is arrived at based on the characteristics of the constituent and

tested for conformity to the specifications. The recommended mix is the optimum mix and

Satisfying all other requirements.
