It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Audrey Nolander. I have had the
pleasure of viewing Audreys professional development over the last two semesters as her elementary
mathematics methods instructor and fieldwork supervisor, and I can state with confidence that Ms.
Nolander is ambitious, willing to learn, and reflective of her skills. As such, I expect that she will be a
positive asset to your school district.

As a student, Audrey was incredibly organized and such a willing learner. She ensured that all
assignments were completed to the fullest extent of the expectations and used feedback to enhance
the already exceptional work. Throughout the semester, she demonstrated the skills necessary to
effectively conduct a lesson with full engagement of all students. She was incredibly conscientious of
all her students needs and meticulous in her planning of research-based instructional strategies and
techniques. She makes sure to incorporate differentiation strategies and frequent checks for
understanding and uses this information to help guide her instruction. Her assignments exhibited her
very reflective nature about what she thinks she needs to improve upon and what went well. She is
eager to do what is best for her students and sets goals for herself that will enhance her next teaching
opportunity.

Audrey is confident and ambitious and her willingness to refine her skills, her tenacious work ethic, and
insatiable need for learning and growing set her apart. The education community is so fortunate to
have her become a part of it.
