drilling, it must take into account the necessary requirements:

Type and characteristics of electric generators
Cementing units.

Staff

The drilling crew
Although the number of people in a drilling crew varies from tower to tower, most
crews working on land consist of a supervisor tower or chief survey, a drill, a
latching and two or three driller helpers or workers. Sometimes the crew also
includes a motorist or oiler, a mechanic and an electrician tower. Although they are
not part of the group.

Shifts or guards last eight hours. The drilling operation lasts twenty four hours a
day, seven days a week, almost there are always four crews.

Personal Protective Equipment

The PPE include all devices, accessories and clothing of various designs used by
the worker to protect against possible injuries that may occur in the plant drilling.

Location

Selection of the Drilling Point

The asset has to follow certain steps to select the drill point. The results of seismic
tests have to be studied and analyzed.

The terms and lease or purchase agreements must be reviewed by legal experts to
get permission to use and the rights needed.

Preparing the area

After drilling gets the contract to drill a well on land, the area is prepared to set the
tower and its equipment. In the sea area is marked with buoys. On land, the area is
cleaned, leveled and access roads are constructed and turns. At sea salt water is
used. On land, a large dam will dig and covered with plastic.

Lifting the tower

Once the tower has been moved to the drilling site, the next step is to mount the
components of the tower to begin drilling. For towers that are to be used on land,
first you have to mount the infrastructure, a metal frame resting on the ground just
above the hole.
