Lesson Reflection
Time management, especially making time for a conclusion is difficult

for me in the single periods. I have so much planned that I feel confined

when I have a class for such a short period of time. I plan to develop this skill

further by making more specific time limits for students and my self. Setting

these timelines doesnt restrict the performance of a task, as more time can

be allowed for. I need to work on having a balance between being flexible

and planned.

I am also learning how to be more assertive within my class. This is

applicable for individual student work as this is when I find it most difficult to

have all students on task. I want to allow for all learning types, but I also

want students to feel responsible to their task. This can make it difficult to

allow an atmosphere of movement and noise as it can distract some

students and create off task chatter. Having direct consequences and

allowing for the right amount of time for certain tasks can help me to

eliminate some of these issues.
